Zhang Wei, Chinese Consul General in Almaty, said in his speech that Central Asian countries and other countries along the Silk Road Economic Belt have many inherent advantages in jointly participating in the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt. China is willing to enhance the economic development level of countries and regions along the route through mutually beneficial and pragmatic cooperation in various fields. In various fields such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, etc., cooperation between the two parties will also be comprehensively expanded and deepened.
At the meeting, experts from various countries discussed issues such as the connection between the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and Kazakhstan's "Bright Road" new economic policy, the prospects of China-Kazakhstan international production capacity cooperation, the connection between the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the construction of the Eurasian Economic Union, and made positive expected evaluations.
