First of all, Arab countries have an urgent desire to further deepen cooperation with China. Thanks to the "shale gas revolution", the road to "energy independence" in the United States has become increasingly clear, and it is transforming from an oil and gas importing country to an exporting country. In addition, the slowdown in oil and gas consumption growth and the increase in oil and gas production have also caused the global oil and gas market to transform from a seller's market to a buyer's market. Arab countries, which rely on oil and gas production and w88 as their economic pillars, urgently need to expand new and stable markets and buyers. Countries with steady economic growth like China have naturally become the first choice of Arab countries.
Secondly, Arab countries have always had a "Silk Road" complex. As early as the 1980s, Kuwait proposed the idea of cooperation in an economic belt similar to the "Silk Road", but due to the development strength and economic development trends of various countries at that time, the idea was not put into action. The "One Belt, One Road" strategy proposed by my country not only meets the development needs of both sides, but also complies with the traditional friendship and aspirations of the two places.
Finally, some countries have responded with practical actions in the context of the “One Belt, One Road” strategy. Kuwait plan use1300billion US dollars to build a "Silk City" in the northern coastal area and build it into an important strategic hub connecting the New Silk Road between China and Europe; Oman plans to take advantage of the "Belt and Road" initiative to establish the Duqm Special Economic Zone and the Zheng He Memorial Park; Qatar plans to build the "Doha New Port Area"... From these measures, we can see that Arab countries want to use the "Belt and Road" strategic plan to develop their economies.
Reporter: What opportunities and challenges does the “One Belt, One Road” strategy bring to China and Afghanistan?
Ding Long:With the theme of "interconnection, win-win cooperation", the implementation of the "One Belt, One Road" strategy will not only play an important role in promoting my country's economic transformation and development, but will also bring opportunities for further deepening economic and w88 cooperation between China and Afghanistan.

Chinese companies have mature experience and technology in infrastructure construction, especially in railways, electric power, ports, and chemical machinery manufacturing and construction, and are highly competitive. The two economies of my country and Arab countries can implement new ideas on production capacity cooperation and jointly explore new markets. In the fields of infrastructure construction and other fields, Arab countries have huge foreign exchange reserves, and my country has rich human resources, experience and technology, and can achieve strong alliances and joint expansion in markets such as Egypt.
There are many opportunities but also many challenges. To advance the “Belt and Road” strategy, we urgently need the guidance of large-scale landmark projects. For some Arab countries that hold a wait-and-see attitude, the "One Belt, One Road" strategy is currently only in the early planning and mechanism building stages. The establishment of the AIIB is a good signal, but it lacks practical projects as a carrier and the results are difficult to predict.
In addition, the lack of consensus between China and Arab countries on the implementation path and direction is also an important factor that restricts the in-depth advancement of the “Belt and Road” strategy. The slow progress in the construction of the China-Arab Free w88 Zone is an example. This requires both parties to strengthen exchanges and communication, establish a cooperative relationship of mutual trust and mutual benefit, and jointly promote the implementation of the strategy.

Facing the opportunities of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, China and Arab countries must strengthen in-depth cooperation, build a mutually beneficial and win-win community of interests, and jointly promote the upgrading and development of China-Arab economic and w88.
In these aspects, some companies have already made useful explorations. For example, Sinopec and Saudi Aramco jointly established a refinery in Quanzhou, and the two parties also jointly established a refinery in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia... This kind of cooperation not only meets the needs of Chinese companies to obtain a stable supply of raw materials, but also meets the needs of partners to enter the downstream and obtain stable digestion channels. If there are more large-scale projects like this to drive in-depth integration of Chinese and Arab enterprises, I believe it can further promote the in-depth development of the “Belt and Road” strategy.
In addition, Chinese companies must pay attention to the fact that the Middle East is a typical high-end market when conducting production capacity cooperation in Arab countries. "Going out" of general and low-end business will hardly have a positive impact on competitiveness and brand image. This requires enterprises to solidly develop their internal skills, improve their technical and management levels, and truly play their role as the main force in the construction of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.
