In East Asia, China's security situation is facing major threats, and a very serious "East Asia dilemma" has emerged.Currently, China has relatively tense relations with many countries in East Asia. A careful examination of the conflicts of interest between China and these countries reveals that in fact there are no structural conflicts or major conflicts of interest between China and these countries. The existence of the American factor can be said to be an extremely important reason why China faces the dilemma in East Asia.In the period when the United States is "rebalancing" China, China must seek new concepts and new strategies to "balance" and resolve the threats posed by the United States' global strategic adjustment in order to solve the current East Asian dilemma China faces and maintain peace and stability in East Asia.

First, abandon the confrontational thinking mode and handle relations with East Asian countries as well as possible. Less confrontation, more cooperation, and avoiding becoming a "lonely big country" are important strategic thinking for China to get out of the predicament in East Asia. Against the backdrop of the U.S. strategic focus shifting eastward, many issues surrounding China will be difficult to resolve in a short period of time. As for Sino-Japanese relations, it will also be difficult to effectively improve them in a short period of time. Under this situation, China should maintain sufficient strategic patience, w88 time for space, and let time solve the problem. At the same time, China should pay more attention to strengthening exchanges with East Asian countries, thereby expanding China's strategic space in its surrounding areas, reducing its enemies and making more friends.

Secondly, try to handle Sino-US relations as well as possible and resolve the adverse effects of the adjustment of the US global strategy. In the period when the United States is "rebalancing" China, how China "balances" and resolves the threats posed by the American factor deserves in-depth thinking and research. If China wants to win a good surrounding environment, it is very important to handle its relationship with the United States well. For the United States, striving for cooperation is the overall situation and the direction. It should be noted that the basis for cooperation between China and the United States still exists, and there are many factors that rely on each other. Moreover, China is a nuclear power. As long as it is determined to "end war with war," no country will dare to openly use force against China. Therefore, China can maintain a long-term competitive and cooperative relationship with the United States and keep Sino-US relations operating on the track set by China to a certain extent without derailing.

Third, China should actively participate in the construction of crisis management and control mechanisms in East Asia and actively shape an institutional environment for peace and stability in East Asia. The construction of regional cooperation mechanisms in East Asia, especially security cooperation mechanisms, lags behind significantly. The reasons are multifaceted, but they are also related to the influence exerted by the United States. The construction of economic cooperation mechanisms among East Asian countries has made a certain start. However, the construction of political and security cooperation mechanisms seems to be very lagging behind. After conflicts among East Asian countries occur, it is often difficult to find effective channels to coordinate conflicts and resolve crises. This requires East Asian countries to jointly promote the construction of regional political and security cooperation mechanisms from the perspective of overall and long-term interests. China should actively participate in this aspect and play a leading role to contribute to shaping a peaceful and stable institutional environment in East Asia.
