Foreword:As an important combination point of the primary productivity of science and technology and the primary resource of talents, higher education plays a very important position and role in national development. Over the past 60 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, especially over 30 years of reform and opening up, our country has built the world's largest higher education system, trained hundreds of millions of high-level professionals and highly skilled talents, and achieved a number of world-leading scientific research results.

In the past five years, especially since the implementation of the Education Planning Outline, universities directly under the Ministry of Education have implemented the Party’s education policy, comprehensively improved quality, clarified ideas, innovated mechanisms, and worked hard, achieving remarkable results. This exhibition fully displays the most distinctive, highly visible, and influential latest achievements of various universities in talent training, scientific research, social services, and cultural inheritance and innovation. It reflects from one aspect the major achievements and successful experiences of my country's higher education reform and development.
