For example, Princeton University in the United States has a major in translation and communication. Although this university is small, it attaches great importance to translation and requires all students to take translation courses as much as possible. I plan to visit this university in the near future and implement the cooperation projects between the two parties. In addition to co-construction with universities in English-speaking countries, we also communicate with universities in other countries, such as the three major translation schools in Paris, France, and the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
In terms of training and income generation, we have organized a series of advanced seminars or training courses. w88 casino has a first-class national-level business English teaching team in the country, so we must give full play to this advantage and carry out foreign business English training. For example, there is a shortage of high-level oral and written translators, a shortage of talents for Chinese and foreign translation, and a shortage of professional translation talents. What kind of talents should colleges and universities cultivate? It was found that the curriculum of many majors is outdated, students' practical abilities are very poor, and they cannot adapt to the needs of society after graduation. Therefore, the Academic Degrees Office of the State Council made timely adjustments to expand enrollment in professional degrees.
I thinkMTIThe common problems faced by education are: First, conceptual issues. Many college teachers believe that teaching in colleges and universities is about learning and becoming a master, but they do not pay enough attention to cultivating students' practical application abilities. Therefore, these teachers must first change their mindset. The second is the issue of teachers. Many teachers who teach translation courses are not graduates of translation majors, but graduates of English language and literature, so they need to learn and improve their professional capabilities. Although social practice tutors have a lot of translation experience, they may not know how to teach, so they also need to strengthen their learning. The third is equipment and usage issues. Due to the particularity of the translation profession, we need to invest a lot of money in building speech laboratories, simultaneous interpretation classrooms and machine-assisted translation classrooms, and also allow teachers to learn to use these advanced equipment. The fourth is project issues. Many teachers do not have translation projects on hand and therefore cannot lead students to practice. Some teachers have too many projects and students become cheap labor. In order to solve this problem, we have cooperated with some enterprises and institutions to build translation internship bases to allow students to practice under the guidance of tutors.
