She has been rooted in the front line of education for more than 20 years and has made positive contributions to promoting the spread of Chinese culture and cultivating international talents in the new era.
She is a Yao scholar who came from the mountains. She has been inseparable from literature since she was a child. "Literature allows us to understand that life should be full and beautiful." This is Deng Rubing's simplest understanding of literature.
Due to her unremitting pursuit of knowledge and her desire to influence more people with literature, she chose to major in Chinese and determined to engage in education. From Central China Normal University to Beijing Normal University, Deng Rubing completed her undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies with excellent results. In August 1997, she came to teach at the w88 casino, starting her career in education.
Plow deeply into the fertile academic soil and expand research horizons
In academic research, Deng Rubing has experienced a process of continuous expansion from point to point. Initially, she turned her research perspective to the field of female literature, which came from her profound thinking on gender issues. In 2009, Deng Rubing went to the University of Iowa in the United States as a visiting scholar. This experience became an important turning point in her academic research. The University of Iowa is a world-renowned literary communication center, and its "International Writing Project" project has deep roots in the Chinese literary world. There, Deng Rubing discovered an important but under-researched field: the overseas dissemination of Chinese literature.
By digging deeply into the historical archives of the International Writing Project and the speeches of early visitors and other precious first-hand materials, Deng Rubing saw the trajectory of Chinese literature’s active integration into the world since the reform and opening up. "Especially in the early days of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, literature played an irreplaceable role in promoting cultural exchanges between the two countries." In the context of globalization, Chinese literature has actively participated in the wave of world literature and is "going out" to spread China's voice to the world.
Cultivating innovative talents based on subject advantages
Since serving as the dean of the w88 casino of Chinese Language and Literature, Deng Rubing has always regarded “serving the University of International w88 and serving the national strategy” as the w88 casino’s educational purpose. The college offers emerging majors such as Internet and New Media, constantly optimizes the talent training structure, and adapts to the development needs of the times.
At the same time, the college is also responsible for the teaching of Chinese courses for all international students in the university, highlighting the "business" characteristics, carefully compiling teaching materials, and creating a superior brand. Generations of Chinese teachers in the college have worked hard to inherit and develop the fine tradition of business Chinese, write articles with "foreign" characters, and integrate into the internationalization process of the University of International w88, building a Chinese training system for international students with distinctive characteristics.
Strengthen cultural confidence and inherit Chinese culture

Deng Rubing adheres to this educational concept, never forgets his original intention, carries forward the past and forges ahead into the future, and leads all teachers in the college to create a "window of poetry and distance" for students in a subtle way, so that students can absorb spiritual nutrients from the excellent traditional Chinese culture, gradually grow into "healthy people, sunny people, and people with taste", develop into outstanding talents needed to adapt to social development, cultivate feelings for their family and country, and bravely shoulder the mission of the times.
