My undergraduate life was very Buddhist and dreamy. I stayed in the comfortable zone for a long time and had almost nothing except ordinary happiness. So before starting my master's degree life, I thought that I would jump out of my comfort zone and try a different student life. During my three years in w88 law, the most fortunate and grateful thing for me is being able to join the Vis team to participate in the moot court competition. I am an English major. I switched to law because I want to expand my thinking based on my interests. Therefore, I very much hope to use my English skills in law studies. The moot court competition is such a platform for the integration of skills, and the Vis competition made me feel the more pragmatic role of language: in addition to building a spiritual world of truth, goodness and beauty, it can also weave legal and reasonable interpretations of rules to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the parties involved.

I enter this game with full enthusiasm. I will never forget reading the monographs, judgments and papers on commercial arbitration at night in the early days of preparing for the competition. I will never forget scratching my head and head in the late night in the corridor of the dormitory with my teammates in front of the small table polishing the facts, but always felt that the words did not make sense. I will never forget the cold water that chilled my heart after losing the first game in the domestic competition. It’s frustrating when the rewards are not proportional to the effort, and it’s heartbreaking when the dreams that are full of expectations are shattered, but I am willing to believe that the work is worth the effort. Don't give up on the "good things" you consider to be half-way! During the preparation stage for the international competition, in addition to actively reviewing and adjusting the preparation ideas and methods with my teammates with the careful help of the student coaches, I was also constantly adjusting my mentality: the more important something is, the more I must do good things in the process and take every step well, instead of always worrying about the results. In addition to further detailing the argument construction, strengthening the search for omissions, and deepening the understanding and flexible application of the case, I am also forcing myself to forget about grades, embarrassment, nervousness and other emotions in every practice and review, and focus on argument presentation, question responses, and skill practice. The transformation from immaturity to winning the "Honorable Nomination Award for Best Debater" was quietly realized through the accumulation of "Don't Ask About the Future". It feels really good to do something well with all your heart. I admit that there is a certain amount of luck involved in the competition, but I believe that the team and myself’s accumulation of repeated retrieval, practice, and review are worthy of this result and honor. I am grateful to UNCITRAL for its strong support for the moot court competition, to the student coaches for their careful guidance, to my teammates for their support and companionship, and to my partner for the encouragement in every practice. This experience not only tempered my legal thinking and learning ability, but also greatly tempered my character.

Wherever your heart goes, go where you want to go

In addition to participating in the Vis International Commercial Moot Tribunal Competition, I think the job of deputy monitor also brings great happiness and satisfaction to my student career. During my undergraduate studies, I did not hold an important class committee position, I did not have rich experience in “uploading and distributing” work, and I was not a very outgoing person. However, the inner voice of "jumping out of the comfort zone" prompted me to be the first to speak on the stage when I ran for class committee at the beginning of the w88 casino year. My main job is to assist the students in the class with their teaching affairs. When publishing notices related to academic affairs, I will first read them and ask the teacher some questions that students may ask. New questions raised by students will also be summarized and fed back to the teacher in a timely manner, and the teacher's answers will be delivered to the students as soon as possible. The most important campus affairs during the graduation season are thesis defense and finalization. I repeatedly read various notices for thesis defense and finalization to ensure that I am familiar with the overall process and carefully answer every student's questions about thesis-related notices. Many students are not in Beijing or at w88 casino, or are very busy with internship work. I actively feedback the students' requests for defense time arrangements to the academic affairs teacher, and try my best to provide convenience for students; I print out thesis finalization and format compliance reports for more than half of the students in the class. Every "thank you" from my classmates makes me feel more gratified and I feel that my work is valuable. I have never thought about gaining any reputation through my work as a class committee member. The appeal of honorary titles to me is far less than the words "caring class leader" and "feeling safe" in the WeChat dialog box of my classmates. Three years of study and life with a master's degree have made me down-to-earth. I never consider myself to be "excellent", I just do what I want to do down-to-earth.
