[Editor's Note] The Graduate Education Support Corps is a national demonstration project of the Youth Volunteer Poverty Alleviation Relay Plan jointly organized and implemented by the Youth League Central Committee and the Ministry of Education. Later I discovered that this is like cats who often stretch out their paws to test before fighting. It does not mean reconciliation or submission, but announces that a protracted war is about to begin.
Before I had time to look forward to the bright future in the honeymoon period of teaching, the little devils were revealed after a week. Due to the long-term neglect and carelessness in learning, problems with study habits such as plagiarism in homework, talking in class, and failure to correct mistakes in lectures emerged one after another. Moreover, due to the small age gap, the lack of fear of young teachers displayed by some adolescent students during the running-in period also repeatedly caused me difficulties. How can we help them better? It wasn't until I served as a temporary photographer before the National Day and watched the children's sports meeting that I found some ideas.
That was the first time I understood and felt them at close range in a world other than textbooks and exercises. The light they shined on the competition field was bright and dazzling, and the vigorous vitality displayed through sports immediately revived me. Okay, not interested in the lecture? Okay, I have trained myself to be half a joker, and I have tried my best to find videos and emoticons related to the lecture content to "flavor" them; can't I solve the questions? Creating the best students
While I was busy keeping an eye on the students at the back to prevent them from falling behind, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were some top students in both classes who had great potential in all aspects. However, due to the pressure of schoolwork, their perception of the outside world seemed to be insufficient and somewhat limited. Past education tells me that blindly instilling knowledge cannot lead to long-term healthy development of students. It is better to teach them to fish than to teach them to fish. Letting students experience and discover for themselves may be a more beneficial learning method for them. So in the first half of the year, we tried a flipped classroom in the physics class "Applications of Sound: Ultrasound/Infrasound/Artificial Intelligence", allowing the top students in the two classes to try to teach and prepare lessons on their own, and to constantly gain insights and experience through the feedback after and in class. Later, on the small note asking them to write class suggestions, when I saw a student who was giving lectures writing, "I hope there will be more opportunities for students to give lectures in the future, so as to get twice the result with half the effort," the hard work of repeatedly helping two classes of students to polish the lecture process in the previous week seemed to disappear.

My ideas will continue to improve after I become a part-time geography teacher next semester. In my opinion, as a so-called top student in the county, the first thing you should do is to have a sense of responsibility for the future development of your hometown, so in early May, two classes held a class with the theme of "In order to seek long-term development, should Gansu give priority to economic development or education" Geography Debate Competition, on the one hand, exercises their expression ability, and on the other hand, it also allows them to have a deeper perception of their hometown, and then be more motivated to learn spontaneously from a macro perspective. The performance of the debaters in the two classes in the debate competition was above my expectations. In subsequent courses, whenever relevant knowledge is mentioned, the previous debaters will unconsciously associate it with the content of the debate. I think this kind of thinking is necessary, and the advantage of this kind of independent thinking will gradually appear in their future study and life.

Fun·Experience the physical world
Things are unpredictable. The sudden epidemic has impacted countless families and delayed the resumption of offline schooling. Taking into account the actual situation of students' families, the w88 casino does not uniformly arrange online teaching, but teachers of each subject can assign homework regularly according to class conditions. After thinking about it at home for a few days, I decided to significantly reduce the original written assignments and instead focus more on students' divergent and interesting learning experiences. I further enhanced their interest in physics learning by watching the series of science experiment programs "Big Science Experiment" (later collectively referred to as "The Big Money-Burning Experiment" by the children). Although the review of the assignment left some students scratching their heads, in the final assignment, I was pleased to see that many students finally looked at physics not just from the perspective of solving problems, but more about the interesting connection between physics and life. At the same time, I also used this homework feedback as a platform and wrote a long message to each student who turned it in on time to affirm their own efforts and encourage continued progress.

In the second semester, I happened to be the geography teacher of two classes at the same time. To be honest, the results of these boys and girls in the "Semester 4" were really tear-jerking. After understanding the situation, I found that the previous class performance was not good either. Therefore, the preparation time for each geography lesson exceeded 4 hours, collecting various relevant anecdotes, hot spots, famous songs, historical allusions, and even used "Desert Camel" and "Horse Rod" when talking about the northwest region to help students remember the terrain characteristics. When I saw the "little chorus" that had been happening for a long time in geography class, and everyone was no longer so resistant to taking notes, I thought, eh, it seems to be done! In addition, Teacher Zhou created a new note-taking method that combines geographical knowledge points with images. She often said in class, "Isn't it beautiful to take notes?" The children underneath pretended to be disdainful, but the pictures were much better than the questions. After taking the midterm exam, the passing rate of Class 3 increased from 40% at the end of last semester to 75%, and the passing rate of Class 4 increased from 49% to 84%. After teaching as a teacher, I gradually discovered that the children in this land are extremely real and are closest to the original appearance of life. I like their reality, and I like to see them smiling and calling "Hello, physics teacher", or sometimes seeing me sneaking into the classroom pretending to be scared. Because I had promised that Class 4 would be allowed to show a movie after finishing the evening self-study, the entire classroom was filled with weird silence and cooperation during the Physics night-study every Monday. The children in Class 3 were very friendly, and many of them had a very good relationship with me in private. When I was about to leave, most of the children in the class invited me to dinner and saw me off. It is the endless vitality of these students that has always infected me. Even though I have experienced countless emotional fluctuations in my heart, I will still go to bed late and get up early, yawning and perfecting the courseware and teaching methods for the next day, and then reincarnations many times. When a novice teacher takes up a job, it is impossible to boast about how great he is. In fact, there are countless times when he feels, "Oh, this place is obviously better at teaching this way!" or "If these knowledge points are combined, it will be more convenient for them to understand!", and they will feel regretful and regretful. But on the other hand, I think it may be because of these little regrets that support myself to move towards better goals day after day.
Towards the end of the semester, after stressing it 10,000 times, I finally saw that 80% of the students included an analysis process of the options when correcting their mistakes. Although sometimes it was not perfect, there was still a voice in my heart telling me: everything we did was not meaningless. On the morning of the last day before I left, I saw many classmates gathered at the door of the office, wanting to come in but didn't dare. Some of them cried silently and became red-eyed. I never expected that I could have any impact on others, but at that moment, I suddenly felt very grateful for their dependence. I hope that this year, these children I am proud of will gain some knowledge, have a little more sense of responsibility in their hearts, and learn how to care for others and be cared for. In this way, my trip will be worthwhile.
