It has witnessed the glorious journey of revolutionary pioneers such as Li Dazhao, Chen Duxiu, and Mao Zedong in exploring the truth of national salvation and spreading Marxism. Walking into this century-old red landmark, the party members of the branch seemed to have traveled through time and space and were in that magnificent awakening era.
With reverence, everyone visited several exhibition halls including "The Glorious Cause, Red Prelude - Theme Exhibition of the Red Mansion of Peking University and the Early Revolutionary Activities of the Communist Party of China in Beijing". In the exhibition area, a large number of precious historical pictures, detailed documents and archives, realistic scene restorations and modern multimedia interactive technology are intertwined and integrated to vividly reproduce those turbulent years. Through the immersive visit and study, the party members of the branch fully understood the arduous journey of China's advanced intellectuals before and after the May 4th Movement in exploring the road of saving the country and the people, and deeply understood the unswerving ideals and beliefs and deep and passionate feelings of the early Communists for their family and country.
During the visit, the party members stopped to gaze at precious documents such as the first issue of "New Youth" magazine and the manuscript copy of Li Dazhao's "My View of Marxism".
