Professor Shi Jianjun emphasized that the undergraduate training plan for the major of economic statistics must first clarify the subject connotation of economic statistics, which has both a macro-grasp and micro-understanding of economic laws, and a scientific application of tools and methods; second, we must focus on the construction policy of "two foundations and three characteristics", and create a group of famous teachers and high-quality courses in a layered manner with "foreign trade statistics characteristics, financial statistics characteristics, and outward-oriented economic statistics characteristics"; third, we must adjust the teaching plan and curriculum system according to social needs and talent training needs, and clarify the training standards, training specifications, and training directions.
