When Li Yingyu was preparing for employment, she came into contact with the field of public welfare consulting by chance. "I'm actually very lucky, because not everyone can find something they like to do during college, but I found it."
Joined from collegeABCBeautiful Society Consulting Agency, Li Yingyu has been looking for her passion since becoming a public welfare consultant. From sporadic volunteer activities and social practice to helping small and medium-sized enterprisesNGORaising donations and public welfare undertakings have gradually become the main theme of her life. These experiences also helped her to be selected as a young scholar in the "Ambition Project", making her stand out from the competition of thousands of people.
“China’s public welfare industry is still in its infancy, and the emergence of some new things is constantly changing this industry. This opened my eyes to more opportunities to realize my ambitions. "When talking about why she chose the path of public welfare, she said this. The promulgation of the "Charity Law" made her feel that China's charity activities finally have laws to follow. It is also under this situation that China's public welfare undertakings need some young people to inject new vitality.
Multiple travel experiences have given Li Yingyu a lot of unique thoughts: “Compared to shopping and eating, what is more attractive to me about traveling is thinking about some problems and studying how local people solve these problems and how they understand and transform the world. "Out of interest in the revitalization of national art, she joined the "Far and Near" practice project and went to Nanjian Village, a small village in Yunnan. There, she and other friends and local villagers chopped bamboo and boiled brown sugar. After conducting in-depth research and analysis, they designed a unique publicity plan for some unique local national arts to help better inherit the national culture.
Li Yingyu considers herself an idealist, but she has never neglected to consider realistic factors while pursuing her dreams. She said: "We must handle the relationship between the two wisely. It is not impossible for them to go hand in hand. We can definitely find the intersection of the two. For me, business and public welfare are interrelated, and their ultimate purpose is to solve a social problem." When talking about her plans for the future of life, She said: "It is a simple thing to find your ideal, but it is difficult to place it. I have heard that career planning and choice are difficult problems that accompany people throughout their lives. I will not regard it as a kind of pressure, but will take a longer-term view and constantly make adjustments."
Looking back at her college life, Li Yingyu had some revelations: "Try first, don't hesitate. No experience is useless. Don't try because the gains outweigh the losses or you are afraid of risks. On the contrary, you can get much more than you imagine, and these experiences can trigger you to think deeper." After four years of trying, she finally determined her goal - to conduct in-depth research in the field of charity. How to use data means to better build the charity industry and how to make China's charity industry more standardized will be her urgent issues to be solved in the next step.
“Try boldly, correct your ideas through constant trial and error, look at some problems more rationally and gently, and find your own dreams in life.” This is Li Yingyu’s advice to everyone. Life is like water at ninety-nine degrees Celsius, and the dream of life is that last degree, which can make your whole life boil.
