Yang Jingmiao: Be an “atypical academic master”

As a student who is about to enter the prestigious Harvard University, Yang Jingmiao is very different from the traditional "academic master".
When she first entered Huiyuan, Yang Jingmiao experienced a period of confusion, but she was fortunate enough to receive help from her life mentor. “The teacher encouraged me to seize the moment, be down-to-earth, and do everything at hand seriously.” Yang Jingmiao followed the teacher’s advice, starting from scratch, and gradually developed an interest in the legal discipline. She devoted herself to every subject.
Talking about her experience in applying abroad, Yang Jingmiao said with a smile: "My resume may not be dazzling compared to others, but I have always insisted on doing what I want to do and never go against my heart." Yang Jingmiao is opposed to deliberately shaping one's self-image and adding luster to one's resume by going abroad. In her opinion, only by facing one's true self can one truly touch people's hearts, and this is the most valuable asset on the road to pursuing one's dreams.
As an “atypical academic master”, Yang Jingmiao’s extracurricular life is also colorful. Yang Jingmiao loves traveling. She has strong language skills and good adaptability to multiculturalism. She often goes to foreign countries to exercise herself and make close friends. Watching American TV series and movies is also one of her daily hobbies. She has a wide range of interests and understands life through light and shadow. Fitness is also an indispensable adjustment in her life, helping her relieve stress and maintain a high spirited state.
