Dai Changzheng: Our major in international relations is a new discipline that emerged after the rise of nations and countries, and the closer ties between countries, and the whole world became a society. This discipline is particularly new. In essence, it is a foreign subject to China. I think the future development of the discipline of international relations must adapt to the overall trend of political and economic development in the entire world. First, it is developing towards comprehensiveness. It can no longer just study issues such as peace, war, and security as in the past. In addition to the so-called high politics, there are also low politics, such as counter-terrorism, current climate change, and current economic and w88 cooperation. Its comprehensive trend is to integrate politics and economics, domestic and international integration. This comprehensive color will become more and more intense, which will also bring challenges to our disciplines. Our teachers should have interdisciplinary qualities and abilities. The second is its practicality. International relations are not for empty talk, but for solving problems. Just like the social economy, there are so many problems in global governance. In the social and political arena, can we put forward a plan, such as China's diplomacy, how much participation do we have, or the country urgently needs us. China is so open and integrated into the world so deeply that we need to study it and provide policies and suggestions.
Third, when we do such a subject, sometimes internationalization, which is originally internationalization, must be imposed as a fundamental, because we cannot close the door and talk about international relations at home. Whether it is a teacher or a student, the emphasis on international comparison is particularly important.
Three major features of the international relations major at the University of w88

Dai Changzheng: The two aspects I just talked about, the first aspect, are our teachers. The teachers in our college all need to be internationalized, probably15Everyone has stayed abroad for a year, and some are returnees. We may recruit more returnees in the future, who have returned from overseas Ph.D. Secondly, a large number of students originally graduated with English majors and later studied international relations, so language communication is not a barrier. We now have many contacts and cooperation with Harvard University overseas, the German Institute for Security Studies, the University of Chicago in the United States, the London w88 casino of Economics and Political Science in the United Kingdom, and the University of London. We use the original archives of the Ministry of Education and put them into the curriculum, allowing students to conduct research and gain first-hand exposure to international relations and international politics, and what problems they need to solve. In this way, senior students have developed many authoritative courses. Currently, we have about ten courses, which basically meet their needs. Since the first and second grades are basic courses, we advocate that concepts and theories must be explained clearly. This is the course offering.
What I also emphasize is that internationally, there is generally no distinction between international and domestic. When you go to Harvard or Yale, you are all Yale students and Harvard students, regardless of nationality. This may be a direction for China's education in the future, especially the University of Economics and Business. We have so many international students. In fact, it should be integrated and should receive this kind of education in the same way as Chinese students. So I have always stressed that we, as international students, must do well. Therefore, each class recruits one class of international students, including graduate students. Including the all-English project I just talked about, in this case, all Chinese students and foreign students are together, Chinese teachers bring foreign students, and foreign students enter the research and education of Chinese teachers. This is a deep internationalization. It should be something international, an element that is particularly important to us and highlights the characteristics of our international education. Next year, ten students from the University of Diplomacy and Languages of Kazakhstan will enter our third-year courses to study. Some of them are taught in English and some are taught in Chinese. These parts may differentiate the majors of our own college from the general students majoring in international politics. I think our current study abroad program may be unique in the country.
The perfect integration of international high-end seminars and teaching practice

We have a set of rules. Some are collective actions, with us as advocates and promoters, and some are point-to-point cooperation, unilateral, bilateral and multilateral mechanisms between countries.
