8month9, the first day of the Olympic Games. After yesterday's shocking experience, everyone is full of energy today. On the bus to Shunyi, everyone happily talked about last night's opening ceremony. The happiness in everyone's eyes revealed their reverence for the great motherland and their incomparable pride as a Chinese.
The game started at 1:50, but there were spectators waiting outside the door around 11:30. The volunteers ate in a hurry and came to their posts early. Assign specific tasks and check various arrangements and facilities: when they found water stains on the ground, everyone quickly found a sign to be careful about the steps and put it at the door; when they found that there were sharp corners that were not glued properly, everyone quickly found tape and carefully reinforced it. Remind each other what to pay attention to for a while. . . Everything is so orderly and harmonious. The feeling of volunteer service unfolds in these bits and pieces.
There are many spectators, and it can be described as a packed house. The volunteers smiled and kept saying warm greetings and instructions such as welcome to come to watch the game, slide carefully, and wish you a happy watch. It can be seen that the smiles of volunteers are the best business card of Beijing and have long been deeply rooted in everyone's hearts.
The spectators cooperated very well, shouting slogans of "Go China, Go Olympics" together, and made various cheering gestures under the guidance of the audience service staff. From children as young as one or two years old to elderly people as old as sixty or seventy years old, everyone raised their hands happily. The smiling faces under the scorching sun are really heartwarming.
Today’s game lasts from half past one to6Point. Many volunteers started work at around eleven o'clock and continued to work until after six o'clock in the afternoon. We haven't sat down for four or five hours, and none of us complained about being tired. When the supervisor asked us to take turns, we all showed humility to each other and insisted that our comrades go to rest first. That thought and comradeship made me more determined. I am honored to be a volunteer.
