First trip·New thoughts

Central District Volunteer Yan Hao

Today, we finally stepped into the door of the super store, a place where we will serve for more than a month. In the half-day training, what we gained was not only an improvement in technical level, but also a clearer understanding of our work. The following is divided into chapters to introduce to you my feelings during this half day.

On the Road

The first time we went to the central area, after more than an hour of exploring, we successfully arrived at the super store from w88 casino. During this process, I also personally experienced many changes with the upcoming Olympic Games. Among them, the most impressive ones were the security check and the subway.

Today is the first time I have gone through a security check. I have only heard it mentioned by classmates doing security checks in the dormitory before, but this time I realized how complicated and cautious the security check is. You have to go through several inspections from the time you enter to the time you come out, and almost every part and everything on your body has been thoroughly inspected (hehe, my bottle of water was gloriously "sacrificially sacrificed"). The volunteers who do the security inspection are also very cautious. There are two or three volunteers guarding each procedure to try not to miss a detail. Seeing them working seriously, I suddenly felt a heavy responsibility on myself. Although we work in different places and the content of our work is different, the heavy responsibility we shoulder is the same. We all serve for the Olympic Games, and we should give our best performance for the Olympic Games in Beijing.

There is also the subway. This is the first time I have taken the subway line 8. The moment I entered, I was attracted by the blue and white porcelain wall tiles with rich ethnic characteristics. The simplicity and elegance of blue and white porcelain can be seen everywhere in the entire subway station, as well as sculptural screens that reflect national characteristics, modern light and shadow walls, and trains with all modern facilities. All of this is telling every friend who comes to Beijing and the Olympic Games: Beijing will definitely welcome friends from all over the world with the best and most enthusiastic attitude. Beijing welcomes you!

Store

At around nine o'clock in the morning, we finally officially entered the door of the super store. From the moment I walked out of the subway station and saw the super store in the distance to now standing in front of the cash register at work, I couldn't help but look at the things around me. The specific summary is as follows: Several warehouse-like mobile houses constitute the main body of the super store, which is divided into stores, warehouses and other parts. And what about around it? There are McDonald's and a concert hall-like building on the left and right, and opposite is a very beautiful park. It is said that many volunteers come here to relax during their lunch break. The environment is very good.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed when I saw the appearance of the super store from a distance. I originally thought it would be grand, but after entering, I realized that it was something special. The counters inside are neatly arranged. Some counters have already placed goods, and some are waiting for the arrival of goods. After a quick glance, they are all commemorative Olympic products. Think about it, it should be very meaningful for friends who come to participate in the Olympic Games and watch the games to take some souvenirs like this back.

When it came time to officially start the practical operation, based on the previous training foundation, I felt much easier this time. After practicing all the previous training content several times, everyone began to simulate shopping. From sales to cashier, each link was practiced several times to ensure that no mistakes were made. Of course, no one will miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Everyone takes turns to select products. This should be the only time that they can "shopping" without any scruples, and they can also "buy" these beautiful Olympic licensed products. So there are those who are holding big lucky babies and wearing themadidasThose wearing hats and carrying several sports bags, everyone happily experienced this rare shopping opportunity. Of course, after all the fun, work can’t be lost. Before the goods arrived at the cash register, we immediately switched to professional cashiers, carefully scanning barcodes, carefully collecting money and swiping cards, and treating every customer with a smile. It was in such a relaxed but not relaxing atmosphere that we ended the morning's training.

Although I felt a little tired on the way back, after this training, I have a clearer understanding of the work of volunteers. Although we have not officially taken up the post, I have seen the hard work of volunteers so many times, heard with my own ears their thoughts on their work, and experienced the cashier work that is about to officially begin this time. I realized that volunteers are not a title with a huge halo, but a group with heavy responsibilities. With only a few days left before the Olympic Games, all our volunteers should be more energetic than before, perform better, and be ready for everything to welcome our Olympic friends!(Reprinted from the 5th issue of "Briefing about the Volunteer Team of the Central Area of the w88 casino", with slight changes by the editor)
