The clothes finally arrived, but problems such as incoming and outgoing orders, time constraints, incomplete numbers, etc. made everyone exhausted. Count them over and over again, classify them one by one, and check them individually. There was a thick pile of list forms prepared just for distributing clothes. However, looking at the bags neatly placed on the ground, we are relieved and happy. This is the result of our down-to-earth and serious work.

All work in the reception center has gradually entered a faster and more efficient track. The tasks of each business department will gradually become more arduous. There is always unfinished business, but we face all tasks and challenges happily. Security Volunteer Li Ran:There is a popular saying in the security team: In terms of hardship and fatigue, our work is second only to the brothers and sisters in the transportation position. They are hot and exposed, but we are not exposed to the sun, but we are 100% hot! This sentence is not an exaggeration at all. Every half hour, you can definitely see the figures of security gate volunteers shuttling between the security shed and the rest room. It is roughly estimated that one person works seven shifts on average every day, so we often joke——It’s time to change the guard before your butt gets hot.

The conditions are indeed difficult: there is no air conditioning in the greenhouse, and only the Haier floor fan can send a slight hot air; when standing guard, I sweat and have to straighten my back to show the spirit and style of the volunteer; I am overwhelmed by the crowds of people and have to repeat it at the same timeN“Hello, please show me your ID” and “Thank you, please come in” repeatedly; I had a full lunch and no time to take a nap, so I had to rush to the greenhouse immediately to replace the comrades who had not eaten yet...

However, whether they are standing guard under the scorching sun, dining in the restaurant, or lying on the table in the break room so tired that they don’t want to move, the security team never lacks fun and laughter. We were touched by the hard work of the two managers, especially the lovely Manager Fu. Her legs hurt when she walked due to synovitis, but she still took us to sign the forms in one private room after another despite the pain in her legs to complete the task.
