Notes on household registration transfer for new students
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security “You can keep your household registration in your place of origin when you go to university”, you can voluntarily choose whether to go through the household registration transfer procedures when enrolling. Students whose household registration remains in their place of origin cannot stay in Beijing when they graduate.
In accordance with regulations, students from within the administrative region of Beijing will not have their registered permanent residence transferred. When you go to the household registration authority to handle household registration transfer procedures and get the "Transfer Certificate", please carefully check the following:
☆Check whether the name, previous name, gender, ethnicity, date of birth, etc. are filled in clearly and accurately, and whether they are consistent with the exam registration. If there are any ambiguities or errors, please ask the staff to change them and stamp them with the special police station household registration seal;

☆In the original address column of "Relocation Certificate",Must fill in the address of the original household registration in detail;
☆Check whether the household registration type has been indicated on the "Migration Certificate",That is, whether there are words such as "agricultural, non-agricultural";If not, please fill it in; if you are in the province(City, autonomous region)Account type canceled,, please indicate it in the household registration authority of the place of relocation;
