Today, when China is gradually prospering from semi-feudal and semi-colonial to socialism, and moving towards a more brilliant and glorious tomorrow, it all shows that our party is a great party. We are more aware of the necessity and urgency of carrying out educational activities on the advanced nature of party members and the forward-looking decision-making of the Party Central Committee.
Since the 1980s, we still remember the painful lessons of the drastic changes in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, as well as the rise and fall of other political parties in the world. Especially the former Soviet Union, the former superpower and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union with a glorious history of more than 70 years in power, collapsed overnight. The reasons can be analyzed from many aspects, but here is just a historical comparison: in 1917, when the revolutionary uprising team poured into the Winter Palace like a tide, only a few cadets offered ineffective resistance, which shows how powerful the revolutionary appeal is; after 1973, when Gorbachev sadly left, most Soviet people, including most party members and cadres, were indifferent and showed astonishing indifference. History is a mirror. The glory of the Soviet Communist Party when it was founded and the desolation when it ended have given people many associations. Russian politician Bolkin said:“If the party had not been weakened in this reform and the party leadership had not been so corrupt, then neither Gorbachev nor anyone else would have been able to bring down the country.”The most fundamental reason for the fall of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the split of the Soviet Union lies in the ruling party itself. The main reason is that it has lost its advanced nature, purity, and leadership ability. It is no longer a communist party in the true sense, so its collapse is inevitable. Comrade Deng Xiaoping warned the whole party earnestly that the collapse of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union,“Prompts us to think well about the past and also consider the future”。
In short, the rise or fall of any political power or political party ultimately depends on what role it plays in promoting the historical process, and whether it is advanced and whether it can maintain its advanced nature. We must always keep in mind that the advanced nature of a political party is not static, and the construction of advanced nature cannot be done once and for all. Being advanced in the past does not mean being advanced now; being advanced now does not mean being advanced forever. We must persist in examining and evaluating ourselves from the perspective of development, strengthen and improve ourselves in the spirit of reform, never be complacent, never slack off, constantly strengthen the construction of advanced nature, and constantly enhance our role in promoting the historical process. The central government’s decision to carry out advanced nature education activities reflects a sense of preparedness for danger in times of peace and a far-sighted strategic thinking.
All facts show that only by maintaining the party’s advanced nature and purity can it have charisma and fighting power, and be able to overcome and overcome various difficulties and obstacles. Since the founding of the party, our party has experienced the era of revolutionary wars, the era of socialist transformation and construction in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the era of reform and opening up in the past two decades. To maintain the advanced nature of Communist Party members, we must strengthen our communist ideals and beliefs. Correct ideals and beliefs are the core of the proletarian worldview and a powerful spiritual pillar. The issue of ideals and beliefs is not something that can be solved once and for all, nor is it something we are born with. It is a matter of constant learning, constant learning, and constant cultivation. We need to constantly consolidate our ideals and build strong beliefs. Some party members and cadres have poor ability to resist corruption and prevent degeneration, which leads them to embark on a criminal path, which has seriously affected the reputation and image of our party. Therefore, we must have firm ideals and beliefs in order to lay a solid foundation for maintaining the advanced nature of Communist Party members. I believe that to maintain the advanced nature of Communist Party members in the new era, I should work hard and set an example in the following aspects.
1. Set an example in reinforcement learning
Setting an example in study is not only to meet the needs of the work, but also an important way to maintain the advanced nature of party members. Through learning, we can optimize our thinking, broaden our horizons, better adapt to the needs of the situation and tasks, and achieve success and use of what we learn.
2. Set an example in practical work
Some people summarize the standard of advanced nature of party members as“Three sentences”：“Able to see clearly at ordinary times, able to stand up at critical moments, and able to be brave in life and death situations”, it does make sense. Whether party members can play a vanguard and exemplary role among the masses is also an important difference between party members and the masses. Whether they are leading party members or cadres or ordinary party members, they are all members of the party's team. The party's cause can only be accomplished through the joint efforts of the whole party. Leading party members and ordinary party members should play their due role as an advanced party.
3. Have the mental state of always being a pioneer
The Communist Party is the vanguard organization of the working class. Every member should be a vanguard warrior and should remain a warrior forever“Pioneer”'s mental state. It does not change due to job promotion or demotion, nor does it change due to difficulties encountered, nor does it change due to age, nor does it change due to physical condition. In short, we must be consistent and persist throughout our lives. How many revolutionaries of the older generation have made the best comments with their own lives.
4. Have the thinking ability to see things first
Thinking determines ideas, and ideas determines the way out. In today's information society, in today's era of change, creative thinking and the ability to see things before they happen are particularly important for Communists. Communist Party members cannot be equated with ordinary people. One of the most important things is that their thinking levels cannot be equated. 5. Have the character of putting others before yourself

This is probably an important reason why the Communist Party is supported by the masses and remains invincible. In the current tide of reform and the great changes in the interest pattern, the advanced nature of party members is clearly reflected. Especially when getting along with the masses and other party members, whether we can not only never compete with others for profits, but also give and offer benefits is a watershed.
6. We must have a style that puts hardship first

The party is the faithful representative of the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people. Serving the people wholeheartedly is the foundation of our party's founding and governance. This is determined by the nature and guiding ideology of our party. To maintain the party's purity, all party members must always understand and abide by the law and regulate their own behavior. Party organizations at all levels must fully exercise their power, and every party member must consciously accept the supervision of the party organization. Bad problems that occur must be taken seriously and cannot be tolerated.
As a member of the Communist Party, we must influence the masses and mobilize the masses in practical work, thus forming the practical activities of thousands of people. The reason why the masses hate corruption is precisely because a very few individuals in our party have deviated from it”Serve the people wholeheartedly”, they pretend not to care about the masses, but use the power given by the people to gain benefits for themselves, use power for personal gain, and ultimately become sinners of the people, seriously damaging the image of the party. Judging from the evolution process of these corrupt elements, one common characteristic is that they have forgotten the masses, the interests of the party and the people, and cannot consciously resist The erosion of decadent ideas of the bourgeoisie and other exploiting classes, the expansion of selfish desires, and the struggle for fame and wealth have aroused the public's anger Strongly dissatisfied. Whether in the war years or in the new situation of reform and opening up, the purpose of the Communists to serve the people is eternal. To truly achieve this, we must always pay attention to maintaining the party's image. Party members must talk about politics, thinking and study. Ideological and political work is a long-term work and is the basis of all work. We must grasp the premise and foundation of learning. Without learning, it is impossible to mature politically, and it is impossible to consciously transform one's own subjective world. If one cannot well transform one's world view, one will not have a clear and clear understanding of the outlook on life, and one will not be able to accurately understand and embody the value of life. No matter it is the economic era or any other era, political thought is the pointer that points the way forward. Without political thought, we will lose our way and our cause will be abandoned halfway.
