Communist Party members must stand at the forefront of the times, walk in front of the masses, and play a vanguard and exemplary role. This is the connotation of the advanced nature of party members that I understand and agree with. This is never out of date.

The important thought of "Three Represents" is the highest level summary of the party's advanced nature. Our study and practice of the "Three Represents" is an inevitable requirement for maintaining the advanced nature of party members. The important thought of "Three Represents" is our party's highest summary of the connotation of the party's advanced nature, which itself uses "advanced" as its connotation: first, it represents the development requirements of China's advanced productive forces, and this "advanced" puts forward requirements for the improvement of material civilization; second, it represents the direction of China's advanced culture, and this "advanced" puts forward requirements for the improvement of spiritual civilization. The third is to represent the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people in China, which is consistent with our party’s purpose of “serving the people wholeheartedly” and is a value reflection of the party’s advanced nature. Maintaining the advanced nature of Communist Party members and learning and practicing the important thinking of "Three Represents" are the main line. As a party member, we must conscientiously study the party's correct guiding ideology and implement it in practice.

The advanced nature of party members is a concrete manifestation of the advanced nature of the party. The two complement each other, are closely related, and are indispensable. To become an outstanding party member, one must connect the important thinking of the "Three Represents" with reality, so as to be able to play a vanguard and exemplary role as a party member and reflect the party's advanced nature. By practicing the important thought of "Three Represents", the party's advanced nature standards can be guaranteed, and the advanced nature of party members can also be guaranteed.
