Since the reform and opening up, in the process of building a socialist market economy, the party has faced tests never encountered during the war years. At the same time as the economy is developing rapidly, corruption has emerged within the party, and it is serious in some places and areas. It has had a serious impact on the party's ruling foundation and directly threatened the flesh-and-blood ties between the party and the people.
