In accordance with the requirements of the Party Group of the Ministry of Education, on behalf of the Advanced Education Activities Leading Group of the Education Working Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, I reported on the relevant arrangements and considerations for the advanced education activities in Beijing universities.
In the first half of this year, the Beijing Municipal Party Committee selected among the second batch of educational activity units32A number of units have carried out educational activities in advance, including some departments of Peking University, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Capital University of Economics and Business3Universities participated in the pilot work. On the basis of summarizing and drawing on the experience of pilot work in colleges and universities, the Education Working Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, according to Zhongfa[2004]2010344_104467month14On the 10896th_10926th day, the Education Working Committee of the Municipal Party Committee held an appointment with party and government leading cadres of universities and heads of relevant departments400The work deployment meeting for educational activities to maintain the advanced nature of Communist Party members in Beijing’s colleges and universities, attended by more than 100 people, officially launched the advanced nature education activities in Beijing’s colleges and universities.
The Education Working Committee of the Municipal Party Committee proposed to colleges and universities9Basic requirements in two aspects: First, we must adhere to the main line of learning and practicing the important thought of "Three Represents", and implement the important thought of "Three Represents" throughout the advanced nature education activities. The second is to persist in working hard to "achieve practical results" and "truly become a project that satisfies the people." Through the development of advanced education activities, we must achieve not only obvious work results, but also obvious ideological results, so that society, students, non-party masses, and party members are satisfied with educational activities and w88 casino work. The third is to persist in promoting innovation in the construction of grassroots party organizations and strive to achieve new progress in party building work. Fourth, we must adhere to positive education and self-education as the main focus, and seriously carry out criticism and self-criticism. Fifth, we must persist in promoting intra-party democracy, follow the mass line, trust party members and rely on the masses, and engage in education with an open door. Sixth, we must insist on leading cadres to take the lead and play an exemplary role. Seventh, we must persist in distinguishing situations and providing classified guidance. Eighth, we must insist on putting public opinion first and strive to create a good atmosphere. Ninth, we must adhere to the "two correctness and two promotion" of educational activities and various work. Take advanced education activities as an opportunity to promote the construction and development of schools.
The Education Working Committee of the Municipal Party Committee requires that after mobilizing and deploying advanced education activities in colleges and universities, each w88 casino should immediately start to do the following work: first, find out the base number of party members; second, find out the organizational situation, adjust and enrich the strength of grassroots party organizations; third, identify existing problems; fourth, formulate work plans and establish leadership and working institutions; fifth, train party branch secretaries and other backbones. Centralized learning and education activities are divided into three stages: learning mobilization, analysis and evaluation, and rectification and improvement.12It will basically be completed before the end of the month.
In the study and mobilization stage, focus on three links: mobilization and deployment, careful organization of study, and organization and discussion of specific requirements for party members to maintain their advanced nature in the new era. In order to form a good learning and education atmosphere, we uniformly require party committees of colleges and universities to hold mobilization meetings in a centralized manner. In the rectification and improvement stage, focus on two links: first, formulating rectification measures and rectification plans; second, carefully carrying out centralized rectification.
In order to strengthen the organization and leadership of advanced education activities in colleges and universities, the Education Working Committee of the Municipal Party Committee has established a leading group for advanced education activities. The group leader is Comrade Zhu Shanlu, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Education Working Committee. The deputy group leader and its members are composed of relevant leaders of the Education Working Committee and responsible comrades of relevant departments.
In order to ensure that learning and education activities are effective, we require colleges and universities to put forward the focus of educational activities that have the characteristics of the w88 casino and are in line with the actual development of the w88 casino. Teacher party members should focus on improving ideological and political quality and strengthening teacher ethics; cadre party members should focus on improving ideological work style and improving w88 casino governance and teaching abilities; student party members should focus on establishing correct ideals and beliefs and strengthening party members' advanced consciousness.
During the launch of advanced nature education activities, the Beijing Municipal Party Committee sent a total of 100 students to colleges and universities11supervision groups, each group4—5People. The leader and deputy leader of the supervision group are mainly composed of w88 casino-level party and government leading cadres who have retired from leadership positions in recent years. The remaining members are selected from the education working committee, universities and other units to supervise and guide the advanced education activities of universities. We will also organize special study and training for members of the supervision team this week to clarify work requirements.
Under the leadership of the Party Central Committee, the Party Group of the Ministry of Education, and the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, and with the joint efforts of party organizations at all levels in universities, party members, and the masses, we must work hard to make the advanced nature education activities in Beijing universities truly effective and become a project that satisfies the masses.
