However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the 40 domestic university teams participating this year have encountered adjustments to the competition: first, the domestic competition organizing committee canceled the oral defense session, and then the Hague International Competition Organizing Committee officially canceled the global finals. After several twists and turns, China's domestic competition finally used the written scores of each team as the basis for awards. The current International w88 casino delegation was established in September 2019. It is composed of 2017 student Zheng Mengya, 2018 student Zhao Canchang and 2 Xu Jun, a 2018 undergraduate student, served as debaters for the prosecutor, defender and government respectively. The investigators were Wei Dingyun (captain), a 2019 master's student in international law, Yang Ouyi, a 2017 experimental class student, and Zeng Ziyi, a 2018 experimental class student. Under the guidance of assistant professor Ji Ying, they were closely followed by student coach Chen Wenxiu (2016 undergraduate student, main debater in the last ICC competition) and received intensive training, successfully completing the half-year preparation work.

Huang Ziyun, Lu Yige, Wang Haohao and Huang Yiyi, the main team members of the last ICC competition, Zhou Xiaoyu, the main debater of the last Jessup competition, and Gao Shuai, the main debater of the previous ICC competition, all actively shared their preparation experience and assisted in training. Foreign teacher Associate Professor Arthur Chiu gave careful guidance on pleadings and court defense skills. Vice President Gong Hongliu, who is in charge of international subject competition activities, also pays close attention to the preparation process.

If there is any regret left in this tournament, it is that the overall planning should be more thorough and the document writing should be more in place. The results of the competition showed that the International w88 casino team’s search was very comprehensive. However, due to insufficient written expressions and the lack of follow-up oral defense sessions to make up for it, they ended up in fifth place with a narrow gap and failed to join the ranks of the four “Grand Champion Awards”.
