【Education Story】Yan Feng: Winter Olympics has me

After heavy snowfall at night, the NTOs in charge of the track need to go up the mountain earlier to clear the snow. Throughout the race, there were many extremely bad weather conditions, but everyone was still able to complete the task well despite the cold wind and heavy snow, which impressed the officials of the International Snow Federation.

The most important thing about alpine skiingThe production of "ice-like snow". The Beijing Winter Olympics truly achieved "freedom of snow use." After hundreds of experiments, we broke through the international technical blockade on China's ice-like snow and created our own "ice-like snow."

I accidentally strained my ligament at work, but I told myself that now that I’m here, I can’t give up easily! I apply ice and massage at night, and still go into work full of energy during the day, because I know that I represent more than just myself!

After the Winter Olympics, the Olympic Organizing Committee asked us to decide whether to continue serving the Winter Paralympics, because this job is hard and boring. After experiencing the Winter Olympics, our physical consumption has reached a certain limit. Many people have suffered injuries of varying degrees, so they chose to leave. But I did not hesitate and decided to stay and continue to serve the Winter Paralympics. The country has trained me. When it needs me, I should not be afraid, face difficulties and fulfill the promises I made!

If the Olympic Games select the strongest physiques of mankind,Then the Paralympics will select the most unyielding souls! Take the downhill competition in the Winter Paralympics as an example. For us able-bodied people, gliding on the track is a very, very difficult thing. It is difficult to imagine disabled athletes gliding at a speed of more than 90 kilometers per hour with less than 10% residual vision, or even no vision at all. How much courage and confidence this requires. This is a perfect display of the Olympic spirit! Athletes and skate leaders cooperate and trust each other, entrusting their lives to the skate leaders. If you want to give up, you can find a hundred reasons as excuses, but if it is true love, you only need one reason to keep going! We participate in an event. A commitment is also a particularly important contract spirit in sportsmanship. Sports competition is also a touchstone. We can make the best friends in the competition field and we can see who is the most loyal, who is the most tenacious, who is the most responsible, and who is the most contractual.

The old captain of the men’s football team is not burly or tall.
