The China Astronaut Center is a comprehensive scientific research institution integrating medicine and engineering in the field of manned spaceflight in my country. At the Manned Space Engineering Exhibition Hall of the China Astronaut Center, party members and cadres of the agency made their first visit. The museum has a total of 13 themed exhibition halls, which focus on displaying a series of physical exhibits of important historical significance such as the Shenzhou 7 return capsule, astronauts' exit gloves, and space teaching equipment. They systematically present the development history and outstanding achievements of China's manned spaceflight industry from its inception to its leap forward. The visiting team then observed the simulated weightlessness training tank and space station combination simulator on site. The weightless training tank with a diameter of 23 meters uses buoyancy balance technology to highly simulate the microgravity environment in space. It is the core facility for astronauts to complete extravehicular mission training. The 1:1 restored space station assembly simulator vividly presents the real scenes of astronauts’ work and life while in orbit, fully reflecting the careful design and rigorous guarantee of my country’s manned space mission ground support system.
During the visit, party members and cadres of the agency were deeply shocked and educated by the lofty spirit of astronauts who are "especially able to endure hardship, especially able to fight, especially able to tackle problems, and especially able to contribute."
