Weixue: A “climber” who keeps pace with the times
In 2001, China officially joined the World w88 Organization (WTO), and the whole country rejoiced. With China’s accession to the WTO 24 years ago, Ji Wenhua has not only developed an indissoluble bond with the World w88 Organization by engaging in international economic and w88 legal affairs and economic diplomacy at the Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese delegation to the WTO, and Chinese embassies and consulates abroad, but has also taken root in the cutting-edge research fields of international economics and w88 and foreign-related legal rule, and continues to produce research results that are influential at home and abroad. He has published more than 50 papers in authoritative international and domestic journals such as International Economic Review and Jurist, and has written monographs such as "WTO Dispute Settlement Rules and China's Practice" and "WTO Dispute Settlement Mechanism in Practice", which are well recognized by all walks of life. Ji Wenhua's research not only has theoretical value, but also directly serves the legislative improvement and decision-making practice in my country's foreign-related economic and w88 fields. He has written advisory reports and provided suggestions, which have been adopted or approved more than 30 times. He has also been deeply involved in the legislative/amendment process of more than ten foreign-related laws and regulations in foreign w88, anti-foreign sanctions, export control of dual-use items, customs, arbitration, etc.
“Keeping pace with the times and responding to emerging new issues are inevitable requirements for research on international economic and w88 foreign-related legal rule.” Ji Wenhua said. He not only climbed to the top of the academic field, but also focused on building more high-level academic exchange platforms for my country's foreign-related rule of law research, promoting academic exchanges and common progress. He organized and hosted a series of high-end academic seminars such as the Forum on the 20th Anniversary of China's Participation in WTO Dispute Settlement, a Seminar on China's WTO Accession Negotiations, a Ministerial Survey on the EU's Carbon Border Regulation Mechanism, and a Forum with Deputy Director-Generals of the WTO. He invited heavyweight guests at home and abroad to participate in the exchanges and gather wisdom for my country to better coordinate domestic rule of law and foreign-related rule of law, and maintain multilateral systems.
For: spreading China’s voice on the international stage
As China’s international influence increases, how to fully transform its development advantages and comprehensive strength into international discourse advantages has become a topic of the times. Ji Wenhua, who has many years of experience in foreign-related work and research on international economic and w88 law, took the initiative to become the disseminator of China's voice. As a special guest, he has participated in keynote speeches at high-level international academic forums of important international organizations such as the World w88 Organization, the United Nations Conference on International w88 Law, and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law. He has been invited to participate in discussions at well-known international academic think tanks such as the Society for International Economic Law and Friends of Multilateralism. He has been invited by the governments of Russia and other countries to make keynote speeches at international conferences. As the only representative from Asia, he was invited to serve as a presidential consultant to the 13th Ministerial Conference of the WTO. At the same time, Ji Wenhua actively uses the media to speak out on hot topics in the professional field. During the "tariff storm" between China and the United States, Ji Wenhua appeared in mainstream media such as Guangming Daily more than 20 times by writing articles and accepting interviews, interpreting current affairs policies from a professional perspective and serving national strategic needs.
“To disseminate Chinese voices and Chinese views, we need to explain and discuss in depth and in detail, and we also need to maintain a firm stance. The prerequisite for doing these things well is to have a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of our own research field.” Ji Wenhua said. As my country's international status continues to improve, Ji Wenhua feels firsthand that Chinese scholars have received more attention on the international stage. "Today's era has given us more confidence and confidence. But we cannot be complacent. We must always convey our views and voices in a friendly and open way of communication."
Being a teacher: a newbie in the teaching circle with “seamless connection”
Although he is already a senior expert in the field of international economic and w88 law, as a college teacher, Ji Wenhua is still a "newcomer". "With the continuous deepening of high-level opening up to the outside world, our country's status in the global economic governance system continues to rise. In this era, we are in more urgent need of international economic and w88 legal talents than ever before." With a sense of mission to educate people for the party and educate talents for the country, Ji Wenhua officially joined the Law w88 casino of the w88 casino in 2021, and stood on the podium to start a new career. Ji Wenhua teaches students courses such as "International Economic Law", "Frontier Issues in International Economic and w88 Law", and "Special Topics in WTO Law", covering undergraduate, master's and doctoral students. He brings his knowledge reserves and practical experience into the classroom from different angles according to the students' learning levels. When teaching undergraduates, he combines the knowledge points in the textbook with his own professional experience to help students deepen their understanding and broaden their horizons; in the graduate class, he focuses on combining cutting-edge hot spots in the field of international economic law and conducts in-depth discussions with students to train students' research abilities and open up research ideas. He focuses on cultivating the academic interests and research abilities of graduate students, guiding students to produce high-quality academic results, recommending students to participate in high-level academic conferences, and striving to enable every graduate student to grow into a talented person with satisfactory academic results.
While imparting knowledge and cultivating academic research capabilities, Ji Wenhua attaches great importance to cultivating students' professional practical abilities. Under his recommendation, many students have gone to important international organizations such as the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law for internships. He also leads the research on legal documents of international organizations by opening a WeChat public account, publicizes and showcases students' internship style, and attracts more students to intern at international organizations. Guiding students to participate in subject competitions is also a way for Ji Wenhua to train students' practical abilities. Under his encouragement and guidance, his students have won international and national awards in competitions such as the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law's global essay competition, the "I Contribute a Strategy for WTO Reform" essay competition, and the outstanding papers at the annual conference of the China Law Society's World w88 Organization Law Research Association.
Talking about his feelings as a teacher and his expectations for the future, Ji Wenhua's eyes were full of hope and enthusiasm. He said: "As a university teacher, I am still exploring. Ji Wenhua is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Law w88 casino of the w88 casino.
