Reporter Cui Yan
Song Yanyan, Vietnamese, w88 casino of Foreign Languages2014undergraduate graduate, served as deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Student Union of the w88 casino of Foreign Languages during w88 casino. During the summer of his sophomore year, he went to the University of Humanities and Social Sciences under the Vietnam National University for short-term exchange studies. He has worked as an intern at Saatchi & Saatchi International Advertising Co., Ltd., China Radio International, and People's Daily Online. Now he has been admitted as a civil servant of the Ministry of Commerce.

When you think of Vietnam, what can you think of? Is it socialism, lush vegetation, or a beautiful girl wearing a bamboo hat and Ao dai? in20108729_8772
Speaking of her connection with the Vietnamese language, Song Yanyan said, “It’s a bit of a coincidence. When I first applied for the exam, out of curiosity, I filled in the Vietnamese language for early approval, but I didn’t expect to be admitted. "When she first started studying, people around her often asked her why she was learning Vietnamese, because in their eyes, Vietnam was "not very developed and there were always some frictions with China." At that time, she didn't know how to answer such questions because she didn't understand the situation in this country.
In the subsequent learning process, Song Yanyan gradually fell in love with the Vietnamese language and developed an inseparable feeling for the country of Vietnam. During the summer of her sophomore year, she went to the University of Humanities and Social Sciences under the Vietnam National University for short-term study. In Vietnam, everything she walked through with her feet, witnessed with her eyes, and felt in her heart showed her the country's features more truly than textbooks. These experiences want her to "justify Vietnam's name": "In fact, Vietnam also has many good places. The food is delicious. Although it is not developed, it is very charming. The climate in the south is very good, and most people are friendly. Of course, many Chinese people have prejudices against Vietnam, and there are also Vietnamese who have the same prejudices against China." She believes that this phenomenon exists because China and Vietnam do not understand each other well enough. And she felt that language learners all shoulder some mission - the mission of promoting deeper understanding between two countries.
Song Yanyan, who has excellent art skills, was once the deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Student Union of the college. She and her colleagues once designed the highly praised11Level 1 foreign language college freshmen’s shirt: white bottom, blue sleeves, cassette pattern on the front. This interest led her to target advertising agencies and media when she initially looked for internships. She has interned at Saatchi & Saatchi International Advertising Co., Ltd., China Radio International, and People's Daily Online. These internships allowed her to meet all kinds of people, learn to accept all kinds of people, and see the bright spots in them. With a double major in international economics and w88, she also found jobs in banks, game companies, and other companies... But these jobs were difficult to use in her major, Vietnamese. She could not let go of Vietnamese, which she had studied for four years, and she always hoped to use the knowledge she learned to do something for China and Vietnam. So she ultimately gave up her other options and turned to the Commerce Department.
The selection process of the Ministry of Commerce lasted for half a year. Because she cherished this opportunity very much, Song Yanyan was a little nervous at the beginning. During the month when she was preparing for the second round of interviews, she listened every dayvoaand Vietnam News, and asked my parents to help with mock interviews. If you prepare enough, you will be confident when you take the exam. By the time of the third round of department-level interviews, she said that she had "enlightened everything. I just went there with the mentality of meeting the leader, and I didn't care whether I passed the exam or not." She wants to pass on her tips to future generations: "No matter where you are going for an interview or how big the occasion is, just think of it like a blind date. If you and the other person are on the same page, not only does it have to like you, but you also have to check whether it catches your eye, so that you will naturally have an aura during the interview."
Faced with the envious looks of others regarding her eventual employment at the Ministry of Commerce, Song Yanyan herself still maintained an objective attitude: "In fact, the Ministry of Commerce may not be a good choice for everyone. Looking at its salary, promotion speed, workload, expatriation requirements, etc., it may not be better than many companies. I chose it because in my opinion, it is the most relevant to my major and the one that best displays my personal value. And I feel like I can meet many very high-level colleagues who will help me learn more and give me a better platform for development. ”
Now Song Yanyan is still doing an internship at People's Daily Online. She is very emotional and plans to go out with her friends when things are over, because "many of them will go abroad soon and won't be able to see each other for a while." In July and August, when the summer is getting deeper, she will officially join the Ministry of Commerce and take on the mission of promoting international exchanges and understanding more devotedly, as she said, "every language learner has a mission."
