Maintaining hand hygiene is the primary condition for preventing infectious diseases. Hand hygiene can be maintained by washing your hands thoroughly with hand sanitizer or disinfecting your hands with alcohol-based hand rub.
1, When should you wash your hands?
(1)Before contact with eyes, nose and mouth
(2)Before eating and handling food
(3)After using the toilet
(4)When the hand is divided by the respiratory tract?When things are contaminated, such as after sneezing and coughing
(5)After touching public objects such as elevator handrails, lift buttons and door handles
(6)After changing diapers for young children or patients, and after handling contaminated items
(7)Before and after visiting hospitals and breeding farms
(8)After contact with animals or poultry
Under normal circumstances, use hand sanitizer when your hands are visibly dirty or may be contaminated by body fluids, such as after going to the toilet or changing diapers, sneezing or coughing(Soap)Wash your hands with clean water. If your hands are not obviously dirty, you can use70-80%Disinfect hands with alcohol hand rub.
2, Correct hand washing steps:
Wash your hands with hand sanitizer, The procedure is as follows:
(1)Rinse your hands under the faucet.
(2)Add hand sanitizer and lather up with your hands.
(3)Use at least 20 seconds to rub the palms, backs of hands, between fingers, backs of fingers, thumbs, fingertips and wrists. Do not rinse while rubbing.
(4)Rinse your hands thoroughly with clean water after scrubbing.
(5)Dry your hands thoroughly with a clean towel or paper towel, or blow dry your hands with a hand dryer.
(6)After washing your hands,?To touch the faucet directly again, wrap the faucet with paper towels before turning it off; or rinse the faucet with water.
3, Note:
(1)Never share towels or tissues with others.
(2)Tissue used to wipe hands should be disposed of properly after use.
(3)Personal hand towels should be placed properly and should be thoroughly washed at least once a day. It would be ideal if more than one towel could be prepared for frequent replacement.
4, Use alcohol hand rub to disinfect your hands, the procedure is as follows:
Pour a sufficient amount of alcohol-based hand rub into your palms, and then rub the palms, backs of hands, between fingers, backs of fingers, thumbs, fingertips and wrists, at least everywhere20 Seconds until hands are dry.
