Leaders of the Market Development Department of the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee inspected the super store in the central area

8month17, It’s a new day at the Central District Super Store. Since it opened in the morning, it has already received friends from all over the world. The volunteers are constantly busy serving customers. Although they are tired, everyone is very happy and fulfilled.

Volunteers are making contributions to the Olympics, and the leaders of the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee are also thinking about them. That night9At about 1:00 pm, the super store welcomed Xu Feng, deputy director of the Market Development Department of the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee, and a group of leaders. This time, Vice Minister Xu Feng and his delegation came to the super store to inspect the work and expressed condolences to those present. Vice Minister Xu Feng was very happy when he saw the dazzling array of products in the store, the serious and responsible volunteers and staff, and the enthusiastic purchase of customers. On the spot, the sales staff skillfully introduced the Olympic products to Vice Minister Xu Feng and others. Vice Minister Xu Feng also had a cordial conversation with the sales staff and was very happy to learn about their good working environment and pleasant work experience. He said that although all volunteers and staff worked hard, it was a rare experience to contribute to the Olympics, and he hoped that everyone would cherish it.

After that, the person in charge of China Sports introduced him to the business situation since the opening. He is very satisfied with the operation of the store, sales and the work of all personnel. I believe that under the guidance of the Market Development Department of the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee, the Super Store will achieve greater improvements in both management and operation.

“I contribute, I am happy” to “I exchange, I am happy”

——Notes on volunteer work at the National Stadium in the Central District Liu Jia

I have been volunteering at the National Stadium for a few days. With the accumulation of experience in the past few days, everyone has become more and more skilled in the sales and cashier work here. Everyone is providing thoughtful and fast services to customers in their own positions.

Our work is very ordinary and hard. We need to stand for a long time every day. Many times we simply repeat the same work, which is a bit boring. But as store manager Xiao Meng said when everyone met at the store for the first time, he hopes that we will be happy when we come to work every day. After a few days of work, we have reaped the joy of dedication. This happiness comes from the "thank you" in response from the customers, from the smiles, from everyone cheering each other on, and from the applause and cheers from the stadium for the Chinese team to win the championship. And today, everyone has discovered a new source of happiness——"pin trading” (Badge exchange).

Exchanging badges at the Olympics is a culture. "If there are no people who exchange badges in an Olympic Games, then this Olympics will lack a cultural heritage," someone commented on the important status of badge culture. When we are at work, we often see foreign badge enthusiasts wearing various badges on their ID lanyards, hats, clothes, and bags. There are badges from sports delegations, media organizations, sponsors, and cultural groups. These colorful little things with different shapes attract everyone's attention like magnets. When we see something special, we will ask about its origin. It turns out that each small badge is not only a commemorative mark for various events and celebrations or a certain group, but its preciousness also comes from the fun of finding and exchanging it.

Soon, everyone joined in exchanging badges, and the mantra became "Do you want to w88 with me? "We are still just"pin trading"'s "rookie". I suffer from the fact that I don’t have enough badges to exchange for it, so when someone wants to exchange the one I finally got, I can’t bear to do it. But it is also because of this that we will shout happily to get a badge that we like, and we will gather around the lucky person who got the badge to share the luck and happiness.

And badge fans are interested in "pin trading"What kind of attitude is it??For us now, every badge we get is regarded as a treasure and we are not willing to exchange it with others easily. Badge fans generally care about the process of exchange. The so-called "I exchange, I am happy", "Only care about what you once had" . This itself also has another meaning of badge exchange, always pursuing the latest and most complete things. It is precisely because of this pursuit that Olympic badges can be exchanged and circulated around the world, allowing more people to share various badges that have never been seen before.

The small badge seems to have a kind of magic power, which instantly shortens the distance between people and the world. There is no strangeness, only the intimacy generated by the love for the badge. We were strangers a moment ago, but now we can communicate with each other easily and comfortably. I believe that when the Olympic Games are over, the joy brought by exchanging badges will become one of the most unforgettable and splendid experiences for every partner who has served in the Olympic Games, and our memories will sparkle!

Meet at the Water Cube

Gao Lu

Counting on my fingers, today is already the tenth day since the opening of the Olympic Games. Time flies so fast. Now when I think back to the first time I stepped into the Water Cube, it seems like it was just yesterday. From that day on, we knew that Olympic volunteer work was not as easy as we thought. After a few days of work, we were exhausted. Because we have relatively few people and a very heavy workload, the work is very hard. Although everyone knows the difficulty of work, no one talks about it because we know how important the word "responsibility" is.

From participating in training to actually participating in the work of the Water Cube, our understanding, feelings, and psychology have been growing. There are gains from work, the joy of working together, and more importantly, the pride of the Beijing Olympics! There are many more.

This is my first time working outside. It’s like going to work. At work, I experienced the hard work of my parents and learned a lot of knowledge that I couldn't learn in the classroom. At the same time, I realized my own value in the Olympics. Maybe for the entire Olympic Games, this is of negligible value, but for me personally, it is enough. I believe this experience will make an important mark in my life.

No more words, we will work harder in the next work!
