When the fatigue passes...
Central District Volunteer Lu Yanlong
Dragging two tired legs, he returned to the dormitory. I am tired, I have been standing for almost a day. I sat down and turned on my computer involuntarily. The memories of the super store's trial opening flashed through my mind. My fatigue was immediately replaced by relief and fulfillment. It was the first time I really worked as a salesperson, the first time I felt the embarrassment of a customer looking at the product but not knowing what to say, the first time I saw senior leaders who seemed far away from me wearing the same clothes as myself and greeting everyone cordially in the store... Many "firsts" made this first day of trial operation full of memories.
Throughout the morning, everyone has been preparing for the afternoon trial opening. Stack the goods neatly, attach price tags, and be familiar with the types, materials, prices, etc. of the goods you are responsible for. Everything is going on in a busy and orderly manner. After lunch, everyone returned to the store nervous and excited. The leader will come to visit everyone soon to inspect the work. The radio is also reminding everyone to do a good job in hygiene and implement the details. These reminders over and over again made me feel a little uncomfortable standing in front of the counter. What posture should I use to stand in? Is my expression friendly enough? Will my boss be very arrogant and point his nose at me when I see something I'm not doing well? If I really dissatisfy them, will I still be criticized by the store manager? God... I feel sore and numb in my legs when I think about this... I feel like I am standing in a military posture. It is not easy to stand motionless in front of the counter.
At this time, a group of people crowded in in front of the door, wearing the same volunteer uniforms as us. Are you the leader who came to inspect? Without allowing me to think too much, the group of people had already walked over to my counter. “Turn right and face the leader,” someone whispered to me. ah! I came to my senses and quickly smiled at the leader. They were discussing harmoniously, and everyone had a smile as warm as the sun. As they moved on to the other counters, I breathed a sigh of relief, amused at my unnecessary worries.
After a while, some volunteers and reporters entered the store to make purchases. What impressed me most was when a foreign friend came to "pin" When selecting at the counter, some students involuntarily swarmed up, which gave the store manager a headache. When we found that everyone was gathered around one person, we all laughed. My lovely classmates, with so many people watching one person buying there, of course the customers will feel uncomfortable. But this is the very real side of us inexperienced and immature students, and it is also something we need to practice more in our future work.
I think after this day of preparation and trial opening, each of us has a different understanding of the central area, a better understanding of our own work, and further plans on how to complete our tasks better. I was touched by the kindness of the inspection leaders, the store manager’s concern for us made me feel warm, and the classmates’ jokes made work interesting. These are all the results of a day's work. To paraphrase it is - hard work and happiness!(Reprinted from the 7th issue of "Briefing about the Volunteer Team of the w88 casino Central Area", with slight changes by the editor)
