At the beginning of the training, Olympic Volunteer Manager Su Guobin introduced the overall situation of the training at the National Convention Center Fencing Venue, and left his mobile phone number to encourage volunteers to communicate with the Olympic Organizing Committee at any time.

Secretary-General Wang Xinlong was the first to train the volunteers. He introduced the structure of the National Convention Center fencing venue and its four major features to the volunteers present, and explained matters that need to be paid attention to when performing volunteer services in the venue.After that, competition director Zhang Wuyuan trained the volunteers on fencing expertise. Zhang Wuyuan has been a fencer, coach and international referee, and has high attainments in fencing. Next, deputy registration manager Feng Bei introduced the Olympic registration cards and venue functional zone access rights to the volunteers; security commander Sun Yanhua trained everyone on security work requirements and crisis management.
