w88 casino News Network (Volunteer Ji Tuo)It has been four days since I started working, and the excitement on the first day is still warm, because everyone is still as positive: the biting cold wind and repetitive work have not dampened our enthusiasm for work at all. We have only one feeling: trivial yet fulfilling, tired yet happy.
Volunteer work is not easy in any position. The same is true for our transportation position. We face many challenges and have to bear a lot of responsibilities. We work outside the venue, directing the entry and exit of vehicles, and guiding athletes, technical officials, media, etc. to and from the entrance and exit. The wind in Beijing is very strong, the weather is very cold, and the dust is very heavy. Staff members who come and go trot into the venue, unwilling to stay outside for another minute. And this is how we keep company with the traffic police, performing our duties in obscurity. The venues need us, the events need us, and the audiences need us. The huge help our work brings to the "Water Cube" is enough to make us fulfilled and happy.
We completed the transportation work together with our classmates from Tsinghua University. We have cooperated tacitly for four days and the transportation work was in an orderly manner. We were very excited and felt a sense of accomplishment when we saw this. However, we also had embarrassing moments. When some people asked us for some information that had nothing to do with transportation, such as the ticket purchase location and date, none of us were very clear at first, and we were helpless in the face of these questions. Although this was not our responsibility, everyone still felt very guilty. At the meeting that night, we all discussed and solved this problem. Everyone has a lot of information and can better serve the audience and the event. In fact, all volunteers are a collective, and we all have a single belief: everything is only for better service.
As volunteers, we truly understand the meaning of sports and what it issport?S: self-confidenceConfidence 。P: passionPassionate.O:obligationResponsibility.R: raceCompetition.T: teamworkTeam spirit. Sports need our spirit, and the Olympics are even more so. When we boarded the shuttle bus covered with stars in the morning and looked at each other's sleepy eyes, we all laughed; when we started working, we cheered each other up; patiently directed the vehicle and answered questions; we secretly took photos of everyone sleeping while resting; we shared each other's fatigue and gains during lunch. All along, it is these five spirits that encourage us to complete our work better. It is the sense of responsibility to make more contributions and strength for the Olympic Games that makes us look forward to tomorrow's work when we set off on our way home. It is "the smile of a volunteer is the best business card of Beijing." This honor makes us always full of enthusiasm. Together we wish good luck to Beijing and work hard for good luck to Beijing!
We believe that the Good Luck Beijing event will be successfully held with the efforts of our volunteers, staff, and all walks of life. We will definitely continue to work hard for good luck in Beijing and unremitting efforts for the Olympic Games in China. Everyone,Fighting!
