In accordance with the college's education requirements on the theme of "Don't forget the original intention and keep the mission in mind", at 3 pm on November 4, the Party branch of the 2018 and 2019 graduate students of the w88 casino of Public Administration organized party members and party activists to carry out the "My Motherland and Me - Poetry Recital for the 70th Anniversary of the National Day" event in Classroom 635 of the Ningyuan Building of the w88 casino.
The poetry recital takes the history of the People's Republic of China as its core context, recreating the historic leap of the Chinese nation from standing up, getting rich, and becoming strong. It generally covers poetry chapters with three themes.
In the first chapter "Reminiscing about the past - praising the selfless dedication of revolutionary martyrs and Chinese Communists in the long history", student party member Zhong Ni, activist Song Xiaomeng, etc. Four branch members brought everyone Gu Gong's "I Stand on the Iron Lock Bridge". This poem recalls the fierce battle of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army to cross the Dadu River and praises the Red Army's heroic, tenacious and fearless revolutionary spirit.
Then came the chapter of "Pouring from the Heart—Expressing the Incomparable Love and Attachment to the Motherland in this Prosperous Age". Four branch members including activists Feng Yueyue and Fu Qi emotionally recited Shu Ting's "Motherland, My Dear Motherland" and led the branch members to look back at the hardships and tribulations of the motherland along the way, inspiring everyone to be inspired by the rise and rebirth of China today.
Finally, entering the chapter "Looking to the Future - Expressing the Determination to Dedicate to a Stronger and Greater Tomorrow for the Motherland", four branch members including activists Liu Xiaoyan and Jie Wen recited "Spring Snow in Qinyuan" by Mao Zedong, the leader of the generation. The magnificent snow scenery of the North, stretching thousands of miles across, seems to be unfolding before everyone's eyes, and the words are full of majesty and open-mindedness.
