On January 26, the Shanghai Alumni Association launched a donation activity of “Fighting the Epidemic, Spreading Love”. As of January 31, a total of 66 Shanghai alumni have participated in donations, raising a total of 25,500 yuan. The donations will be donated to relevant institutions in Wuhan, Hubei through the Shanghai Pudong New Area Guangcai Career Promotion Association. Shanghai alumni and front-line anti-epidemic personnel are working together to overcome the difficulties and help each other.
On January 27, the Guangdong Alumni Association responded quickly and launched a donation call to all Guangdong alumni of USTC. As of January 29, the Guangdong Alumni Association has received donations from 54 alumni, totaling 30,800 yuan. The donation has been uniformly remitted to the Guangdong Provincial Red Cross Society and designated for donation to the designated treatment hospital in Guangdong Province that receives the most cases, to purchase various medical supplies that the hospital is in urgent need of.

Zeph Intelligent Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., owned by Li Fei, a 1995 French major alumnus and president of the Shanghai Alumni Association, donated 200,000 yuan to the Pudong Guangcai Society to support the Wuhan region's fight against the epidemic. It also expressed the hope to provide free supplies to the Wuhan Regional Bus Group, specifically for the normal operation of buses during the epidemic, and to ensure timely supply of supplies.

As of February 22, 147 alumni had responded positively and raised nearly 100,000 yuan. The alumni used the funds raised and contacted relevant companies. During the Spring Festival, Cui Haibo, a 2018 alumnus of the Business w88 casino, actively organized and drafted a charity donation proposal as soon as he learned of the epidemic. He also united with many overseas Chinese living in Spain to form a "Spanish Procurement Materials Team" and raised 100,000 masks and various other materials within 24 hours. Among them, alumnus Cui Haibo, as the leader, donated 5,000 medical surgical disposable masks, 50 medical protective clothing, 1,500 masks (KN95) and 30 infrared body temperature measuring equipment with personal funds. Recently, Ruan Wenting, an alumnus of the 1995 Commodity Inspection Major and president of the Xiamen Alumni Association, learned that many alumni were unable to purchase masks, so he contacted many parties to find purchase channels, invested in a batch of medical masks, a total of 2,500, and provided 2,480 of them for free. For University of w88 and Economics alumni in need, 160 were donated to the Alumni Association and 300 to the China Finance Institute Alumni Association. The rest were promptly delivered to Xiamen alumni in need through WeChat group chats. Ruan Wenting only kept 20 for daily personal protection for himself and his family.

On January 30, the University Hospital of International Business and Economics issued an initiative calling on alumni and caring people from all walks of life to donate charity materials or provide procurement channels.
