w88 casino News Network (provided by the w88 casino of Foreign Languages)On December 20, the w88 casino of Foreign Languages organized teacher and student representatives to visit the Military Museum of the Chinese People’s Revolution to collectively visit the theme exhibition “Remembering the Great Victory and Defending Peace and Justice—Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Chinese People’s Volunteers’ mission abroad to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea.”

This exhibition displays 540 photos, more than 1,900 exhibits and cultural relics, 15 works of art, and 84 diagrams and texts, providing a panoramic review of the great course of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. In addition to precious cultural relics, this exhibition also uses a wealth of real-life restoration techniques to restore key scenes such as the decision to dispatch troops, the fierce battle at Changjin Lake, the bloody battle at Shangganling, the "Arc de Triomphe", and "The Loveliest Person", allowing the audience to feel immersed in the scene. At the same time, combined with specific battles or major events, it vividly tells the glorious deeds of a large number of heroic models such as Huang Jiguang, Qiu Shaoyun, and Yang Gensi.

The War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea was an important chapter in the history of New China. This exhibition not only allows us to relive the great victory of the united fighting between the people and armies of China and North Korea, but also allows us to pay high respect to the "most lovable person". The perseverance in hard times is worth passing on from generation to generation. As students of the University of w88 and Economics, we will definitely shoulder the mission of the new youth in the new era. We will not forget history, have unyielding fighting spirit, and be full of youthful passion. We will closely integrate ourselves with our family and country, work hard, and contribute our strength to the development of our motherland.

Attached are some students’ comments after viewing:

Italian 1701 Lu Junfei: 70 years of ups and downs have never erased the glorious years engraved in the history of New China. The Chinese people played the clarion call for victory in resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea despite hardships, and established their responsibility as a major country with fearless heroism. Walking in the corridor of the exhibition hall, I seemed to have stepped into the long river of history, witnessing with my own eyes the soldiers who fought bravely to fight the enemy in the ice and snow. Even though there was a huge disparity in strength, the soldiers fought bravely to defend their homeland and wrote a magnificent song of triumph in Chinese history. As sons and daughters of the Chinese nation, we should keep the spirit of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea in mind, integrate the individual into the greater self, work actively, and live up to our youth!

Spanish 1701 Zhu Wenhao: When it comes to the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the first thing that comes to my mind are national heroes such as Huang Jiguang, who blocked enemy machine guns with his body and covered the advance of the troops, Yang Gensi, who picked up the explosive package and died with the enemy, and Qiu Shaoyun, who sacrificed himself to protect his comrades. After visiting the exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, I realized more deeply that the heroic volunteers defeated the enemy with their own will and belief despite such a huge gap in weapons and equipment compared to the enemy. The real exhibits such as the signatures of teenage children for the expedition and the farewell letters home tell us with blood and tears that the current prosperity of the motherland was obtained by the heroic sacrifices of countless revolutionary ancestors. We, the young people of this generation, have taken over the "baton" of the times. We have the responsibility to let the roots of patriotism be rich and the branches and leaves flourish, and let the power of patriotism illuminate our way forward.

A language 1701 Liu Jing: The exhibition records the great deeds of many heroes. What impressed me most was the face of an immature child. He stood firm during the war and charged desperately. In the end, when he was unable to resist the enemy's attack, he fired a grenade, rushed into the enemy group, and died with them. He was only 20 years old when he died. There were many such stories at that time. They sacrificed their young lives in order to protect their comrades, preserve their troops, and ensure the victory of this war. I think this formed a very contagious atmosphere on the battlefield at that time, which I call the spirit of the Chinese People’s Volunteers. Moved by the bravery and fearlessness of the heroic soldiers, we understand better that peace and happiness in the new era are hard-won. People of different eras have different missions. The young people at that time created a peaceful environment for China, and we should keep our mission in mind, never forget our original aspirations, persist in our struggle, and contribute our youth to the cause of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Russian 1701 Rubina Yalikun: In this exhibition, we followed the commentator to visit "Responsible for Justice and Decision-making to Send Troops", "Move to Destroy the Enemy and Stabilize the Front", "Use Fighting to Promote Talks to Make the Vietnam War Stronger", and "Achieve Armistice" "Victorious Return to China" and "The Great Significance and Historical Contribution of the Victory in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea" to learn about the historical background of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea and the heroic deeds related to the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. Each touching story fully embodies the spirit of patriotism, internationalism and revolutionary heroism of the Chinese People’s Volunteers. Their spirit of not being afraid of sacrifice and making immortal contributions to the people is worth learning from. General Secretary Xi Jinping profoundly pointed out: "The great spirit of resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea, forged in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, is a precious spiritual wealth that will surely inspire the Chinese people and the Chinese nation to overcome all difficulties and obstacles and defeat all powerful enemies." As young people in the new era, we should shoulder the ambition of "defending our home and country", inherit and carry forward the great spirit of resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea in the new era, remember history, never forget our original aspirations, and strive to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!

Italian 1801 Xu Zhe: When we stepped into the exhibition hall, the weight of the vicissitudes of history hit our faces. From a missile, a bloody letter, and a battle uniform, we are fortunate enough to get a glimpse of this great war. The theme exhibition "Remembering the Great Victory and Defending Peace and Justice - Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers' mission abroad to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea" consists of seven parts. During the visit, we stopped to take a closer look at the precious historical relics and documents such as the precious manuscripts of the Volunteer Army's war hymn, captured weapons and equipment, historical photos before the country entered the war, and the stationery used at the signing ceremony of the Korean Armistice Agreement. We listened carefully to the explanations and exchanged experiences while visiting. For me personally, this is not only a visit, but also a profound patriotism education party lesson. In my future study and life, I should learn from the volunteer soldiers’ fearless spirit. In today's pursuit of peace, we may not need to commit ourselves to our country, but we are indispensable with the belief of patriotism and serving the country. We should play our role as the younger generation on the battlefield of the new era, have the courage to take responsibility, pioneer and innovate, contribute to the great cause of the motherland, and move forward bravely.
