Zhou Nianli shared his experience on how to complete the project research with high quality."First, the choice of research direction is very important. We must choose big issues that are forward-looking and important as the research direction. Once the direction is determined, we must stick to it for a long time and do not change it. Second, the specific topic selection of each research report or paper must be precise. Make small incisions and dig deeper. The research questions of each report should not be scattered, and it is best to keep the distance between questions. There is a progressive relationship. "I now feel more and more that countermeasures policy research is more difficult than purely academic research, because this type of research is dedicated to solving real problems. Sometimes, Zhou Nianli and his team have to research hundreds of companies online, and key companies have to go to the field for face-to-face communication and research. Zhou Nianli believes that a mature scholar needs three qualities. First, the ability to be good at discovering and selecting accurate research problems; second, the ability to carry out professional thinking on research problems; and third, the ability to express clearly and standardizedly in a professional manner. Based on his high degree of professionalism, Zhou Nianli has published academic papers in authoritative and core economics journals such as "Economic Research", "World Economy", "Financial Research", "Quantitative Economics and Technological Economic Research", etc.100 articles. The scientific research process is not always smooth sailing. Zhou Nianli not only devotes himself fully to scientific research, but also provides graduate students with guidance from macro to detail, laying a solid foundation for students to move towards a broader life path."The work I do mainly includes: first, helping students find topics, which should be neither big nor small, neither new nor old.
