Searching up and down, one day learning is good at diligence

At the 2019 Outstanding Student Award Ceremony, w88 shared his first experience in his speech. In order to learn the iconic big tongue sound in Greek, she would take a sip of water and look up her head to find the feeling. It took two months to finally practice.

Shortly after entering the school, w88 realized that he had underestimated the difficulty of Greek. Although he was determined to learn a language, there were still many difficulties in front of her. In addition to the complex words and exquisite grammar of Greek itself, she believes that the biggest challenge comes from thinking and habits.

"Taking from the law and getting it from it", Zhang Zhifan chose to use these eight words to describe language learning. On the one hand, she believes that the goal of "for use" is higher than "for exams", and only high goals can lead to high levels.

The foreign country shows its ambitions, and it is no longer yesterday

In my junior year, w88 got the opportunity to go abroad for exchange. Athens is more than 7,600 kilometers away from Beijing. In the city where the official language is Greek, w88's chemical use is everywhere.

During the New Year's Eve, the Chinese Embassy in Greece held cultural activities such as the Happy Chinese New Year, and w88 and his companions were invited to assist in volunteer translation. In the Athens Art District that winter, she taught guests to learn Chinese and introduced Chinese culture to the Greeks... She also participated in a lot of similar social practices. Through repeated practices of chemistry, she felt that simple chatting and communication were different.

When the reporter expressed doubts about this, she talked about a past event. In the 2019 New Year, the Chinese and Western Times held a New Year performance in Athens, inviting children from local martial arts schools to participate in the event, but many people's schedules conflicted with the performance plans.

"Chain is just about expressing opinions, but communication is not the case. When we are the link between the two parties, we must not only be able to convey feelings, but also find ways to resolve conflicts and contribute to the problem solving," she explained.

Before studying abroad, w88 tried to take the B2 level of Greek language proficiency test but failed. After returning to China, he passed the test with excellent grades in World War II. During her study abroad, in addition to two Greek language courses, she also had two economics courses taught in Greek.

In addition to the progress in Greek, the biggest gain that studying abroad brings to w88 is the improvement in personality. w88 recalled that he was a very introverted person, but the enthusiasm of the locals during his study abroad infected her, helped her break through the language difficulties, and her personality was much cheerful.

The happiness of studying abroad is also difficult. What first appeared was discomfort in eating habits and the growing sense of homesickness. If w88's Chinese stomach can still be comforted by Zhou Heiya and Haidilao in Athens, the language barrier is undoubtedly a greater challenge.

Because the first choice was Japanese, w88 was not interested in this language when he was first transferred to the Greek language department. However, during her year of study abroad, she felt that her Greek friends were not only close to themselves, but also to their motherland, and gradually developed a good impression of this country.

In the face of the epidemic, plan cleverly without fear of pressure

w88 is very concerned about the world epidemic that has just calmed down again and again. This not only concerns the lives and safety of people around the world, but also affects everyone's future plans. Although she faced the pressure of cancellation of exams and graduation design, she said she was very lucky and asked her tutor to interview the content of the paper before the holiday.

Although w88 plans to go to Greece to study for a postgraduate degree in September, she has to make two preparations in the face of the unpredictable global COVID-19 epidemic. At present, w88 is still looking for an internship, and she has formulated two plans for herself.

During the epidemic, w88 not only prepared for graduation and future, but also conducted online learning of minor courses. At the same time, arranging many things such as class, writing papers and looking for internships did not make her at a loss. Instead, she felt more sincerely the importance of planning and goals, divided the tasks priorities, and completed the final journey of the fourth year of the Chinese Communist Youth League step by step.

Faced with the upcoming graduation, w88 has his own plan. At present, she has successfully applied for graduate school in Greece and will continue her studies in business in Greece.

In addition, w88 also put forward some suggestions for his juniors who are troubled by language learning and future choices based on his own experience and language learning experience. w88 said that language learning must be based on the purpose of learning for the sake of use in order to truly master a language. Abandoning exam-oriented thinking is the biggest challenge facing learning a new language.

Faced with future planning, w88 said that the most important thing is to accumulate more and practice. Based on her uneasy when she first entered the Greek major, she finally overcame her worries and turned Greek into her own interests, she told us that in the face of the cruelty of reality and the confusion of the future, she should constantly question and analyze herself, consider it objectively and subjectively, and plan her own timeline.
