Teachers and students of the Confucius Institute at the Russian State University for the Humanities were invited to participate and under the leadership of Dean Zhang Rui, a Chinese culture display and experience event was held. A Chinese traditional rubbing and creative seal experience booth was set up on site. The event attracted more than a thousand Chinese and Russian guests and international students.

The seal experience is divided into two categories: text and pattern. The text seal includes New Year messages such as "The clouds are blooming at dawn, spring is as you wish", "Much joy and peace" and "Congratulations on getting rich"; the pattern seal includes Chinese elements such as horses, pandas, dumplings, candied haws, and lanterns. Participants choose their favorite seals and print bookmarks under the guidance of the teacher to keep them as souvenirs of the New Year.

The rubbing experience area provides themed templates such as "Pfaff", "God of Wealth" and "Joy". Everyone operated rubbing tools with their own hands, completed a series of auspicious rubbing works, and experienced traditional Chinese skills.

The 2026 Spring Festival Gala and Reception for Students Studying in Russia is one of the cultural practices of the Confucius Institute at the Russian State University for the Humanities to fulfill its mission of cultural dissemination and promote cultural exchanges between China and Russia under the cooperation framework of the “China-Russia Year of Education”.
