Starting with culture, caring about China and Malaysia—The Confucius Institute at the University of Malawi at w88 casino held the first China-Malaysia Cultural Comparative Forum

w88 casino News(Contributed by International Business Chinese Base)Days ago, the first China-Malawi Cultural Comparative Forum hosted by the Confucius Institute at the University of Malawi in w88 casino was grandly held at the Chisolo Conference Center in Malawi. Irenda, director of the National Museum of Malawi, and Harewa, a literature lecturer at Mzuzu University, were invited and participated in the forum.

This forum is divided into thesis presentation and defense, and you can enjoy Malawian dance performances, Ngoni culture and "Yao" culture at the Mua Cultural Museum. The forum lasted for two days and received a total of 12 paper abstracts from scholars from China and Malaysia. Among them, the topics of the papers include "Time-limited Beauty: A Comparison of Aesthetics in the History of Women in China and Malaysia", "A Brief Discussion on the Similarities and Differences in Chinese and Malawian Family Culture from Legends", etc. The submitted papers will be published in the "Journal of Humanity" one month later. This forum aims to promote Sino-Malaysian cultural exchanges through the presentation of cultural papers about China and Malaysia, so that the people of China and Malaysia can better understand each other's culture and benefit from exchanges.

At the beginning of the forum, Dr. Mofoni, the foreign director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Malawi, welcomed the participants and the authors of the paper. He mentioned that cultural exchange is a necessary means for people to understand the world, and it is also the cornerstone of cultural activities carried out by the Confucius Institute. Irenda, Director of the National Museum of Malawi, gave a brief introduction to the definition of a museum, the construction history of the Malawi Museum, and the classification of the Malawi Museum. He pointed out that museums are an important platform for displaying and learning national or regional culture, and recommended museums with Malawian ethnic customs such as Chamale Museum, Stone House Museum, and Nkoma Museum. Subsequently, the thesis presentation and defense sessions officially began. At the closing ceremony of the forum, Professor Feng Jianguo, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Malawi, made a summary. The forum was a complete success and promoted mutual understanding of Chinese and Malawi cultures. The China-Malaysia Exchange Forum will continue to be held, and various forums such as economic exchanges and w88 exchanges will be held in the future to enhance all-round understanding of both parties.

After the forum, the participating representatives took a group photo with all the Chinese teachers of the Confucius Institute at the University of Malawi in w88 casino on the shore of the beautiful Lake Malawi.
