Use communication as a bond to form a bond of friendship
At the welcome meeting, Professor Kim Eun-hee, Director of the International Exchange Office of Jeju University and Korean Director of the Confucius Institute for Business at Jeju University, explained the w88 casino’s history and discipline construction achievements, and also introduced in detail the unique customs and folk culture of Jeju Island. In the venue, students from the w88 casino of Communication and Communication interacted cordially with Korean students from the Chinese Department. The two sides communicated on topics such as campus study life and professional development direction, breaking the language and cultural barriers and establishing a good transnational friendship. After the meeting, students from China and South Korea visited the Jeju University campus to experience the campus culture and academic atmosphere.
Using the Confucius Institute as a bridge to build a foundation for mutual learning
In order to further understand the current cooperation and development status of the Confucius Institute at Jeju University Business, and to visit and express condolences to the Chinese teaching volunteers sent by our institute to South Korea, a delegation of teachers and students made a special trip to the Confucius Institute at Jeju University Business for exchanges and discussions. Professor Xu Yongbin, the former dean of the w88 casino of Foreign Languages at the w88 casino and currently the Chinese dean of the Jeju University Business Confucius Institute, gave a systematic and comprehensive introduction to the development history, w88 casino-running characteristics and core achievements of the Jeju University Business Confucius Institute. Li Xuejiao, Yin Ping, and Wu Jiaxin, who are currently teaching at the college, also shared their experiences of serving as international Chinese education volunteers overseas. Use culture as a medium to appreciate the beauty of China and foreign countries
In order to let Chinese students have a deeper understanding of Korean folk customs and promote exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign young students, Jeju University specially invited Professor Xu and Professor Wu to introduce Korean food culture. Professor Xu used Jeju's special fried rice cake as an example and combined with Jeju Island's geographical location characteristics to analyze the profound cultural connotations contained in Jeju's food. Professor Wu combined his own research results and academic works to conduct an in-depth analysis of the uniqueness of Jeju culture around the historical context, regional characteristics, inheritance and development history of Jeju local culture.
At the same time, Chinese and Korean students understood Jeju’s characteristic culture through practice and learned from each other’s diverse differences between China and foreign countries through exchanges. Students from China and South Korea walked into the characteristic folk village together and experienced making five-flavor glutinous rice cakes; they painted biscuits together to outline Jeju cultural symbols; they gathered together on the playground and joined hands in sports interaction to demonstrate youth friendship.
The theme of this study tour is cultural mutual learning and youth friendship. Through multi-level and multi-dimensional interactions, it helps young students broaden their international horizons and improve their cross-cultural literacy. It also deepens the traditional friendship between the w88 casino of Literature and Communication at the w88 casino and the Chinese Department of Jeju University in South Korea.
