w88 casino News Network (Contributed by UIBE International Business Chinese BaseOn April 6, the first Chinese martial arts course offered by UIBE Australia Victoria Business Confucius Institute and Brighton Grammar w88 casino in Melbourne concluded successfully. The subjects of this martial arts class include seventh and eighth grade students in the middle w88 casino department, as well as students in grades four to six in the primary w88 casino department. The number of students participating in the martial arts class reached more than 100.

The Chinese martial arts course is a characteristic Chinese culture course offered by the Victoria Business Confucius Institute based on the characteristics of the middle w88 casino students. This course starts fromClasses will start on February 25th and last for 8 weeks, with four classes per week. Tao Hongyi and Li Tengfei, volunteer teachers of the Confucius Institute, are responsible for teaching this martial arts course.

The two teachers chose different teaching contents based on the learning characteristics of different students, combining the external and internal martial arts of Chinese martial arts to show the different styles of Chinese martial arts. Teacher Tao mainly teaches Shaolin Five-Step Boxing. After nearly two months of study and continuous practice, the eighth-grade students learned all the movements of Five-Step Boxing. At the end of the semester, they gave a report performance to all the teachers and students of the w88 casino. When the teachers saw that the students performed well, they all had a satisfied smile on their faces. Two non-martial arts class students also expressed their desire to learn martial arts after watching their classmates’ performances, saying:“We also want to learn martial arts and perform for the teachers.” Their enthusiasm for learning was also praised by the management teachers. Volunteer teacher Li Tengfei mainly teaches Shaolin Tai Chi, and combines the hardness of Shaolin boxing with the softness of Tai Chi. It is the first time for many students to see this kind of boxing with their own eyes. They said that they used to think that Tai Chi only has very slow movements, but they did not expect that Tai Chi also has very fast movements. The slow and then fast movements attracted the attention of the students from the beginning. In each learning process, students have a certain sense of accomplishment by demonstrating movements such as Vajra stance, lunges and punches. Not only are the movements performed in a stylish manner, but they also experience the happiness that martial arts brings to them. Before the start of each class, two volunteer teachers will convey the "martial virtues" to the students through the fist-holding ceremony of martial arts. Holding the fist in the right hand represents "martial arts", and fighting with force is used to stop fighting. The raised palm of the left hand represents "culture". Literature includes martial arts, which means respecting teachers and classmates and not using force to bully others. In addition, through the experience and study of Tai Chi courses, students learned that Tai Chi also includes "Wen Tai Chi" and "Martial Tai Chi". On the one hand, they can strengthen the body and prevent diseases through the practice of gentle movements. On the other hand, they can also use Tai Chi's grappling and fighting techniques for self-defense.

During the teaching process, in addition to the standardization of movements, the two teachers also emphasized the offensive and defensive connotations of martial arts movements and the Chinese cultural factors they represent, as well as the ChineseThe philosophical thought that "harmony" is the most important thing. Students not only learned martial arts movements and had a certain sense of accomplishment, but also understood the Chinese way of thinking and moral concepts behind martial arts, and felt the breadth and depth of Chinese culture, which laid a good foundation for further martial arts learning in the future.
