Four students from the 2023 Interpretation Major of the MTI International Conference of the w88 mobile of English in our w88 mobile were shortlisted for the final, demonstrating the professional style of students from the University of Business. Yang Qianyu won the second prize in the English-Chinese group; Peng Hanchi won the third prize in the English-Chinese group, Cai Guoxing and Huang Ding won the excellent prize in the English-Chinese group, and Hu Rong, the Department of Translation of the w88 mobile of English, was invited to serve as a judge of the competition and won the "Excellent Instructor" award.

"Multi-lingual Relay Simultaneous Translation Competition" is sponsored by Shanghai International Studies w88 mobile and hosted by the Advanced Translation College, and is conducted under the guidance of the International Federation of Universities Translation Colleges (CIUTI) and the Chinese Translation Association (TAC) Interpretation Committee. The competition involves 9 languages, using multilingual relay form, using Chinese as the relay language, and conducts relay simultaneous transmissions of Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Korean (Korean), Russian, Spanish and English.

In the live final, the contestants need to complete three simultaneous transmission tasks, namely, translate the foreign language into Chinese once and translate the Chinese translated by other contestants into foreign languages ​​twice. Each round of competition lasts 45 minutes, and video materials in three languages ​​are played separately, each video lasting about 12 to 16 minutes.

The final of this relay simultaneous transmission competition will move the simultaneous transmission box from behind the scenes to the front stage, turning the "invisible man" into the "protagonist", which is undoubtedly a multiple test of students' interpretation quality, physical strength and mentality. In this competition, the students truly felt the characteristics of "high difficulty" and "high requirements" in interpreting work, and understood the difficulties of relay simultaneous interpretation in actual work.
