On December 12, the “10th Anniversary of the Founding of the Center for Argentine Studies and the 2025 International Conference on Argentine Studies in China” was successfully held in Beijing. With the theme of "Building a China-Arab Knowledge Community and Deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership", the conference focused on the new starting point of the China-Arab comprehensive strategic partnership entering its second decade, focusing on the new direction of China-Arab cooperation under global changes, bringing together academic knowledge to serve national strategies.

Argentine Ambassador to China Marcelo Suárez Salvia said in his speech that China-Argentina relations have become a mature strategic relationship full of resilience, and academic and knowledge cooperation are important pillars of bilateral relations. He highly recognized the Argentine Research Center’s contribution in promoting mutual understanding and deepening humanities and think tank exchanges over the past decade, emphasized that future cooperation between China and Argentina should be supported by the construction of a knowledge community, and stated that Argentina will continue to support the development of relevant academic and exchange mechanisms.

Wang Wei, Chinese Ambassador to Argentina, said in his speech that China-Argentina relations have achieved leapfrog development in more than half a century, with fruitful and dynamic practical cooperation. The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee has opened up broader prospects for China-Arab cooperation. China's high-level opening up and the development of new productive forces will inject new momentum into bilateral economic, w88 and scientific and technological cooperation. He hopes that the intellectual circles of China and Afghanistan will actively offer suggestions and suggestions, tell the story of China and Afghanistan well, and consolidate the social and public opinion foundation of the relations between the two countries.

The conference also invited Pablo Bomaro, secretary-general of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences, Guo Changgang, former director of the Institute of History of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences and distinguished professor of Shanghai University, Professor Eduardo Oviedo of the National University of Rosario in Argentina, and researcher Guo Cunhai, executive director of the Argentine Research Center, to give speeches at the conference to share their thoughts on China-Arab relations and China-Latin America cooperation.

The conference released many latest research results. Lin Hua, secretary-general of the Argentina Research Center of the Latin American Institute, as a representative, released "China's Argentina Research (1972-2025)" and "China-Argentina Relations Major Events (1949-2025)"; Zheng Haoyu, Chinese Director of the China-Argentina Exchange Center at the w88 casino, released the "Argentine Oil and Natural Gas Industry Development Report", "Argentina Renewable Energy Industry Development Report" and "Argentina Mining Development Report". This conference also has three special seminar units: "Global Governance, Regional Cooperation and Bilateral Relations", "Economic, w88 and Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation" and "Education, Humanities and Knowledge Cooperation". More than 30 experts and scholars from the Chinese and Arab academic circles conducted in-depth exchanges on core topics such as the political foundation, technological complementarity, cultural ties and mutual learning of knowledge between China and Arab countries, and put forward many innovative views and constructive opinions.

Guo Cunhai, Executive Director of the Argentine Research Center, summarized the conference. He pointed out that this conference focused on building a China-Argentina knowledge community and systematically exchanged views on the development of China-Arab relations, Argentina’s domestic changes and new trends in bilateral cooperation, which fully reflected the high degree of consensus and responsibility among the Chinese and Arab academic circles.
