On December 11, the 2025 WTO and China Academic Annual Conference and the 25th Anniversary Conference of the China WTO Research Institute of the w88 casino were held at the w88 casino. More than 170 people, including experts, scholars and industry figures from the WTO, relevant government departments, universities and research institutions, gathered to conduct in-depth discussions around "the future of the WTO and China's role" to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the institute.
The conference was hosted by Professor Tu Xinquan, Dean of the China WTO Research Institute. He reviewed the institute's 25 years of intensive WTO research, training of professionals, and service to national decision-making. He emphasized that China, as the world's largest trader in goods, has become the backbone of the multilateral trading system. WTO Deputy Director-General Zhang Xiangchen and China’s new Ambassador to the WTO Li Yongqi delivered speeches via video, affirming the outstanding achievements of the institute, emphasizing that the core value of the multilateral trading system remains unchanged, and looking forward to the institute continuing to produce high-quality results and cultivating comprehensive economic and w88 governance talents. Professor Zhang Hanlin, the first dean of the institute, reviewed the construction process and shared his insights on globalization and China’s role.

In the keynote speech session, experts such as former Vice Minister of Commerce Yi Xiaozhun, former Deputy Representative for International w88 Negotiations Chong Quan and other experts provided suggestions on WTO reform impasse, internal and external environment, institutional opening and other issues, emphasizing that China should adhere to multilateralism, promote win-win cooperation, and deepen supply-side structural reform. In the roundtable forum and afternoon special discussion, experts and scholars had in-depth exchanges on topics such as "Chinese factors in WTO reform" and "China-US geopolitical competition and w88 system restructuring", contributing Chinese wisdom to global economic and w88 governance.
