Since the launch of the study and education on establishing and practicing the correct concept of political performance, all levels and localities have actively deployed, carefully organized and implemented, guided and educated party members and cadres to work hard for the people, forge ahead, and ensure that the study and education is carried out in a down-to-earth manner and achieve tangible results.

This year marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the first year of the “15th Five-Year Plan”. Carrying out this study and education is an important strategic deployment made by the Party Central Committee focusing on the overall development of the party and the country. It is of great and far-reaching significance for promoting the "15th Five-Year Plan" to get off to a good start and achieve the great cause of building a strong country and rejuvenating the nation with Chinese-style modernization.

The issue of the concept of political performance is essentially the fundamental issue of "for whom to create political achievements, what kind of political achievements to create, and how to create political achievements." Our party's original mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation of the Chinese nation determines the starting point and time and space domain of the correct performance view of party members and cadres. The people's position is the starting point for a correct view of political performance. Those good cadres who are remembered by the people, their political achievements are popular projects that can withstand the test of history and practice. In the process of starting a business, party members and cadres must first ask whether it is in the fundamental interests of the people and whether it can bring tangible benefits to the people. They must always regard the "satisfaction" of the people as the "measure" to measure political performance. The long-term perspective is the time and space domain of the correct view of political performance. Party members and cadres must not only do well in the "manifest achievements" that can directly benefit the masses, but also pursue those "latent achievements" that lay the foundation and benefit the long-term in the spirit of "calculating profits for the benefit of the world", and truly contribute to the long-term development of the cause of the party and the people. Let "potential achievements" be recognized and "shown achievements" return to their true nature.

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has attached great importance to the issue of the concept of political performance. General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized the need to establish and practice a correct concept of political performance, which provides a fundamental basis for learning and education. By improving systems and mechanisms and strengthening ideological education, we will guide party members and cadres to consciously benchmark themselves ideologically and resolutely follow their actions, so as to promote the continuous and in-depth development of comprehensive and strict governance of the party. Entering the new era, a series of important intra-party regulations and policy documents have been promulgated, such as "Several Guidelines for Intra-Party Political Life under New Situations", "Regulations on the Selection and Appointment of Party and Government Leading Cadres", "Regulations on the Organizational Work of the Communist Party of China", and "Work Plan for Investigation and Research on the Great Rejuvenation of the Whole Party". The continuously improved intra-party regulations provide institutional guarantees and strong traction for establishing and practicing a correct view of political performance. At the same time, since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee has been far-sighted and carefully deployed, and has successively carried out multiple intensive study and education within the party to guide party members and cadres to build a solid foundation of faith, temper their souls of loyalty, and cultivate their feelings for the people.

The key to establishing and practicing a correct view of political performance lies in action, and the fundamental lies in taking responsibility. Achievements recognized by the people are not slogans, but down-to-earth and hard work. At present, as we embark on the critical journey of building a strong country and rejuvenating the nation, we are faced with many "hard bones" that are difficult to crack, and it is difficult to immediately demonstrate personal achievements. In particular, we need the majority of party members and cadres to cultivate the ideological realm of "regardless of personal fame, only for the great cause of the future." The majority of party members and cadres should always cultivate a state of "selflessness", always have a heart of "concern for the people", pay close attention to implementation with the "nailing spirit", seek truth from facts, and strive for practical results. "Work one after another", start well and finish well, turn ideas into actions, and realize goals into results.

The people’s position is the fundamental political stance of our party. The majority of Party members and cadres must take the initiative to go to the grassroots and listen to the voices of the masses, understand the sentiments of the people, and pool the wisdom of the people. They must be brave and good at turning the "blocking points" and "difficulties" encountered by the masses in their lives into work efforts, and use the satisfaction, dissatisfaction, happiness and dissatisfaction of the masses, and consent as the highest standard to measure the effectiveness of work, and create solid performance that can withstand the test of history, practice, and the people.

Establishing and practicing a correct view of political performance is a lifelong required course for party members and cadres. Party members and cadres must persist in deepening their understanding in study, temper their party spirit in practice, correct deviations in reflection, always insist on achieving political achievements for the people, achieve political achievements through hard work, strive to show new atmosphere and new achievements in the new era and new journey, and deliver excellent answers that are worthy of the party, the people, and the times.
