The outbreak of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic has brought serious obstacles to China's normal social and economic order. From production supply to market sales, the production and sales chains of various industries have experienced varying degrees of obstruction and stagnation. Fewer transshipment links effectively reduce the possibility of the spread of the epidemic. Information released by the National Development and Reform Commission shows that from January to February this year, there were 1,132 China-Europe freight trains, a year-on-year increase of 6%. According to data released by the State Railway Group Co., Ltd., as of February 19, the import and export freight volume of international railway transport completed 8.67 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.1%. Among them, China-Europe freight trains have completed a total of 83,000 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 1.5%. The number of China-Europe freight trains (Chengdu) increased by 76.9% year-on-year, and the number of China-Europe freight trains (Changsha) is expected to increase by more than 140% year-on-year in the first two months.

Third, adopt flexible transportation and handover methods to ensure safe and smooth railway ports. In accordance with the epidemic prevention and control requirements and standards of different countries, we will flexibly adjust the operating procedures, formulate special handover operation methods during the epidemic, give full play to the role of the China-Europe freight train transportation joint mechanism of the seven-nation railway, optimize operating links, and ensure that goods can still be distributed and distributed normally during the epidemic. Fourth, open more China-Europe freight trains in key areas to assist global epidemic prevention and control. Against the background of the extremely severe international epidemic situation, China, as an important producer and supplier of global anti-epidemic materials, should increase the number of trips to areas with severe epidemics to meet the huge demand for rescue and medical supplies. Fifth, implement graded preferential arrangements for China-Europe freight train transportation costs. Free transportation of medical relief supplies and urgently needed supplies for epidemic prevention will be implemented free of charge, and fee reductions and exemptions will be provided to import, export and related enterprises that have not fully resumed work during the epidemic period, so as to enhance the survivability of enterprises during the epidemic period and ensure China's competitive advantage in the field of international w88.
