Time passes, and it’s midsummer again. I still remember this time last year, like the other 19 partners of the w88 casino’s 19th graduate student teaching group, I was fully looking forward to the next journey of life in the hot graduation season——One-year teaching mission in the west.
Slightly different from everyone else, I am even more excited! Because Xinjiang, where I am about to go, is the place where I was born and raised, and it is my hometown. Also because I can finally start to fulfill a childhood vow.
“The kindness of nurturing will never be forgotten for life”
When I first arrived in Wujiaqu City, the Sixth Division of Xinjiang, where I was teaching, everything was full of unknowns. This made me keep thinking about what I could do for the children here. They could always complete the tasks I arranged very well, sometimes with high quality and quantity, and sometimes with unexpected ideas that exceeded my imagination, which made me feel that the volunteer teaching work was more exciting because of them.
“The vast world is unforgettable”
I still remember that after the military training, the Youth League Committee of the Sixth Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps arranged for us to visit the Military Reclamation Museum. The commentator told us the stories of the senior military reclamation veterans and countless young people from the border areas. Among them, what impressed me the most was President Xi Jinping’s inscription during the border period: The vast world is unforgettable. This has become an inexhaustible motivation for me to actively participate in supporting teaching work and strive to fulfill my childhood vows.

So I was full of expectations and told the students in the Nanjiang Youth League what I saw and felt. From their expressions of surprise, excitement, novelty, or anticipation, I knew that I had allowed them to see the rapid development of the motherland, and to a certain extent, it had helped them open up their desire for knowledge and the outside world. I believe this will be the first step for us Xinjiang students to contribute to our hometown, and it will also be a big step for me to fulfill my vow to repay my hometown.
One year has passed too fast. I haven’t taught enough lessons to the children, seen enough cute teenagers wearing red scarves, and introduced the vast world to the students in southern Xinjiang.... This year, I am very happy but not satisfied in my hometown, because I can never get enough of the spring, summer, autumn and winter of my hometown, and I can't forget the customs and customs here, let alone the warm, simple and kind people in my hometown.
One year of teaching is an unforgettable experience. Xinjiang, I will come back! Become a person who can do more for your hometown and become better together with your hometown!
