Hello everyone, my name is Yang Yachen, from the Xinjiang branch of the Graduate Education Support Corps of the w88 casino. A year is not a long time, but it is enough for me to remember for the rest of my life.

As a teacher, the happiest thing is to see students grow, and the most proud thing is students' respect and love for themselves. However, my journey as a teacher did not start smoothly.
At the end of August 2018, Wujiaqu Primary w88 casino ushered in the first semester of w88 casino. Watching the cute children step into the campus, I began to look forward to the moment when I stood on the podium and taught. According to the arrangements of the Teaching Office, I will teach the second-grade "Lovely Corps" course. When filling out the volunteer teaching subject intention form a year ago, I filled in mathematics without hesitation, and through the training activities arranged by the Youth League Committee, I was fully prepared for teaching mathematics. I have always wanted to be a main subject teacher who can "preach, teach, and resolve doubts" for the children in their daily interactions, rather than a secondary subject teacher who is "not valued by the children." In addition, I am a volunteer teacher, so how to teach children about their local history is also a huge challenge.

During the course preparation process, I gradually gained a deeper understanding of the history and culture of the Corps, and was deeply shocked by the spirit of the Corps people. At that moment, I suddenly realized that maybe I am an associate subject teacher, but I also shoulder a heavy responsibility. I have obligations and responsibilities to let the children of the Corps deeply understand the history of the Corps and inherit the Corps spirit left by the older generation of revolutionaries.
So, I began to take the subjects I taught seriously and prepare the content of each lesson carefully. From the first class, I have deepened my relationship with the children through games, self-introductions, etc., and increased their emphasis on this course. In the following courses, I vividly demonstrated the development process of the Corps to the children by playing documentaries, slideshows, text explanations, students sharing stories about the Corps around them, and students painting the history of the Corps, and also allowed the children to gradually understand the connotation of the Corps spirit.
Now, whenever my students meet me in or out of w88 casino, they will greet me sweetly: "Hello, teacher!" They will even excitedly say to their friends: "That’s my lovely Corps teacher! "When I heard these words, I was filled with emotion and satisfaction.
"We are no different"
In addition to being a member of the graduate support teaching group of the University of International w88 and Economics, I also have another identity as a "Western Project Volunteer". In 2019, there were more than 140 Western Plan volunteers serving the Sixth Division. Although we come from all over the world, we help and support each other because of our shared identity.
In December 2018, as one of the members, I participated in the Western Plan Volunteer Style Contest organized by the Corps on behalf of the volunteers of the Sixth Division. Through the program, we told the audience the touching stories of our volunteer teaching and expressed our determination to take root at the grassroots level and serve the west. In the end, our performance won first place and was recognized and praised by the leaders of the Youth League Committee. In addition, as a volunteer representative, I participated in the filming of a special promotional video for the Corps Radio and Television Station, and shot the MV for "Go West" with four volunteers from other divisions. This was also a new experience for me and an unforgettable memory.
In May 2019, I participated in the tulip festival volunteer activities with more than 60 volunteers from the city, discouraging tourists from trampling on flowers and plants, and calling on tourists to protect the environment. In June 2019, he participated in the voluntary activities of creating a civilized city in the division city.
From 2018 to 2019, I left Beijing and came to Wujiaqu City, the Sixth Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, to support teaching. The oath of "go to the west, to the grassroots, and to the places where the motherland needs it most" still echoes in my ears, but my service is about to end. I miss the students and culture here because they moved me deeply. I am grateful for the choice I made, because this year will definitely be one of the most precious experiences in my life.
