Editor’s note: In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the National Education Conference and other conferences, and comprehensively promote the construction project of teachers in the new era of schools, according to the "Central Committee of the Communist Party of China" According to the requirements of the State Council’s Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening the Reform of the Construction of Teacher Team in the New Era, which “strengthen teachers’ participation in social practice and promote teachers’ full understanding of the Party’s conditions, the country’s conditions, social conditions, and the people’s conditions”, the Party Committee’s Teacher Affairs Department/Human Resources Division/Teacher Development Center organized the National Conditions Education for New Teachers in 2019 (the first batch) to guide young teachers to expand their horizons, grow their talents, make contributions, and serve the motherland while serving the society. In mid-October 2019, 21 new teachers went to four practical cooperation units: Shihezi University, China University of Petroleum (Beijing) Karamay Campus, Qingdao Research Institute, and Hainan Research Institute, kicking off their practice in education and teaching, subject research, and think tank construction. The process of practice is also a process of understanding life, thinking about the present, sublimating the state of mind, and inspiring the mission. They use real and delicate brushwork and lenses to present practical stories that belong to themselves and more specifically to the young teachers of the University of International w88.

This is my first time coming to Hainan. Before that, my impression of Hainan was still based on Premier Zhou’s words, “Danzhou is established, and the treasure island takes root.” The temporary unit is Hainan Nongken, a state-owned enterprise that owns and inherits military reclamation culture and red genes. In just two months of temporary employment, my understanding of this company has changed from vague to clear, and I have experienced and witnessed the Haiken spirit of "hard work, unity and forge ahead, pragmatism and pioneering, and active dedication".

Xilian Treasure Island, Pearl of the South: The Vicissitudes of Xilian Rubber Garden for a Century

Since its establishment in 1952, Hainan Farming has made important contributions to the development of my country's natural rubber industry for 67 years, realizing the development of my country's rubber from scratch to excellence, and ensuring the strategic supply of my country's rubber materials. During my temporary appointment, I had the honor to accompany the chairman of Haiken Trading Logistics Group to inspect its affiliated farms, and visited the first batch of state-owned rubber gardens in New China and the Western Union Century-old Rubber Garden with an inscription by Premier Zhou.

A hundred years later, the so-called "Century Rubber Park" is also the first batch of state-owned rubber gardens in New China, laying a solid foundation for the development of the motherland's rubber industry.

The centuries of vicissitudes of Xilian Rubber Park have not only witnessed the development process of my country's rubber from scratch, from scratch to excellence, but also witnessed the Haiken spirit of "hard work, unity and forge ahead, pragmatism and pioneering, and active dedication" of Haiken people from generation to generation. Shortly after the founding of New China, imperialism adopted the policy of economic blockade and rubber embargo against our country. In order to develop my country's rubber industry, in January 1952, Hainan Agricultural Reclamation was established, and the First Division of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Forestry Engineering Division was established. At the same time, tens of thousands of demobilized officers and soldiers, a large number of cadres who went south, returned overseas Chinese, teachers and students of colleges and universities, scientific and technological workers, and local Li and Miao people actively participated in the construction of agricultural reclamation, kicking off the grand prelude to the natural rubber reclamation undertaking in New China. After more than 60 years of development and construction, Hainan Agricultural Reclamation has developed into an economic and social system that focuses on natural rubber and heat production, integrates agriculture, industry, and commerce, and comprehensively develops science, education, and health. It is also the largest natural rubber production base and important heat production base in the country. Since its establishment 67 years ago, the development history of Hainan Farm Reclamation is a history of hard work. It is also the link between the inheritance of military reclamation culture and red genes. It is also a witness to the spiritual power of Hainan Farm Reclamation people's "hard work and courage to pioneer".

Inheriting the culture of military reclamation and carrying forward the spirit of sea reclamation: eager to move forward, still on the road

History is like an elder who advises the future; then, spirit is more like a wise man who guides the way forward. In just two months since I came to Hainan, I have been deeply touched by the military reclamation culture, red genes, and Hainan reclamation spirit. The spirit of "hard work and courage to pioneer" of the older generation of revolutionaries and builders of New China has always made me think deeply about the origin of struggle and the meaning of youth. Youth is not years, but state of mind; youth is not rosy faces, red lips, soft knees, but deep will, magnificent imagination, and passionate love; youth is like the flowing of a deep spring of life. The energy of youth runs through the rainbow, bravery overwhelms timidity, and enterprising overwhelms peace. Youth is more like a wanton farce. Only by truly going through those ridiculous twists and turns can we get a happy ending.

Since then, youth, or struggle, has become simple and clear, that is, a desire to move forward, a desire to succeed, and a desire to gain something. Longing for the distance, when the sun rises across the horizon, thousands of rays of light are shining, which is irresistible, and the heart will tremble; longing to move forward, without a longing heart, the world is only between sizes, and the world beyond the horizon cannot be reached as far as the eyes can see.

I often think that in the past two months, I have grown, gained, and gained. What grows is the state of mind; what is gained is learning, a good teacher, and a helpful friend; what is gained is contentment and contentment.

I only wish to live the best version of myself. In this age of dreaming and the best era, we should move forward with a persistent pursuit of dreams.
