Professor Dong Xiucheng from the Department of Energy and Low-Carbon Economics of the w88 casino of International Economics and w88 of w88 casino was selected into the list. The list is selected based on the number of highly cited papers published during the 11-year period from January 2012 to December 2022. The total number of scientists selected for the list in 2023 is 6,849. Mainland China continues to rank second this year, with a total of 1,275 people selected.
The selection methodology for Highly Cited Scientists was developed by bibliometric experts and data scientists at Clarivate Analytics' Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) based on Web of Science™ citation data and its analysis. The scientists selected for the "Highly Cited Scientists" list have their papers cited in the top 1% of the same subject and year of publication in the Web of Science™. The selected scientists are all top scientific talents in universities, research institutions and commercial organizations around the world who have a significant and widespread impact on their research fields.
Dong Xiucheng is a second-level professor at the w88 casino, a doctoral supervisor at the w88 casino of International Business and Economics, and concurrently serves as the executive director of the China International Carbon Neutral Economic Research Institute at the w88 casino. He is responsible for presiding over more than 100 scientific research projects and has published more than 300 academic papers, including more than 90 articles included in SSCI/SCI, more than 60 articles included in EI, and more than 20 CSSCI journals. He has published more than 20 academic books and 2 textbooks.
