At the beginning of the lecture, Vice President Wang Qiang extended a warm welcome to all the guests, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the China Law Society, China Legal Exchange Foundation, All China Lawyers Association, Peking University Magic and other units and media for their long-term attention and support. During the lecture session, three experts conducted an in-depth and detailed analysis on the conceptual connotation, development history, historical background, and fundamental purpose of foreign-related rule of law, the integrated development of international commercial arbitration and my country’s traditional arbitration business, and how to promote the construction of foreign-related rule of law in the future.
President Gao Zicheng pointed out that promoting the construction of my country's foreign-related legal service capabilities can start from strengthening the international layout of foreign-related legal services, encouraging law firms to actively expand overseas business, cultivating international perspectives, etc., and improve the quality of arbitration through measures such as establishing professional committees, improving the rules for selecting chief arbitrators, and establishing an exit mechanism. Regarding the issue of arbitration supervision, Chairman Gao Zicheng gave a comprehensive and in-depth explanation from the aspects of the relationship between domestic arbitration supervision and international arbitration supervision, their respective functional positioning, and the way to advance arbitration procedures, combining theoretical basis and practical experience.
Vice President Huang Jin first clarified the concept, connotation and extension of foreign-related rule of law from three perspectives: pure domestic rule of law, foreign-related rule of law and international rule of law, and analyzed the background and fundamental purpose of strengthening the foreign-related rule of law system and capacity building from both domestic and international perspectives. In addition, Vice Chairman Huang Jin also gave a profound explanation on how to promote the construction of my country's foreign-related legal system through the construction of an international commercial arbitration center.
President Yu Weifeng gave an in-depth and detailed explanation on the development of foreign-related legal rule and the law firm’s positioning in the evolution of foreign-related legal services. He pointed out that arbitration, as an effective means to resolve cross-border disputes, is very different from judicial assistance or litigation. At present, there is a trend of integration and development between my country's international arbitration and China's traditional arbitration industry. The interoperability between the laws of different countries and regions needs to be jointly discovered by experts, scholars, lawyers and w88 casino students.
